A few friends and I were in town from about an hour and a half away, and wanted to get piercings together. The shop is clean and the employees are kind, welcoming, and helpful. Hayley started with a nose piercing on my friend. Very fast. Cute jewelry. Unfortunately, the gem fell out about a week later, so this friend returned and got the stud changed. Shortly thereafter, a bump formed on the inside of her nose that took quite sometime to heal. Not the worst things to happen, but definitely not convenient. After watching my friend get pierced, I was ready to get my nose pierced as well. (Spoiler: I have since taken it out and have had it re-pierced by a local shop where I live in CA). Hayley did not open the L-shaped jewelry enough, so she had to put a taper in my nose after the needle went in and it felt like I was pierced twice. Definitely hurt. A lot. Hayley was great at calmly talking me through it, but it was clear that she (and an employee who walked by) did not think it looked good. Slight panic was happening. Naturally, blood was dripping down my face. Not only did the sight of this make one friend almost pass out, but Hayley's gloves got so covered in my blood that she dropped the jewelry and had to start again. My friends thought it got so bad that Hayley would give up. After what felt like an eternity (but my friends say it was only about 15-20 minutes... only... 15-20 minutes...), the stud was in and I was set. Traumatized, but good to go. After the swelling went down, I realized that my nose had been pierced at an awful angle and the post from the L-shaped stud hung out of my nose. Working in face-to-face customer service, sporting a "metal booger" is not ideal. Back home, I first just got my jewelry changed to rid myself of the metal booger. Because of the whacky angle, it HURT. And the piercer who helped me said I would have to custom order a C-shaped piece of jewelry if I wanted a hoop because a hoop wouldn't sit right. Bummer. After some weeks of wrestling with it, I decided to take the piercing out and let it heal. 2nd time around (but at a different shop), the piercing was quick and painless... and no blood! Just as it should be. And it's been healing well, too. I was offered water after the struggle my nose experienced with Hayley, but I still paid full price for the piercing...and I tipped. Out of habit. Because that's how I was raised. In hindsight, I feel like I threw $60 in the trash. Finally, a different friend got her cartilage pierced. Her piercing was also quick, but later, it kept falling out of her ear. Eventually, a bump formed, it got painful (and still wouldn't stay in her ear), so she took it out and let it heal. I would not recommend this shop. Though Hayley was kind, my friends and I experienced too many problems to have counted our experience as a success. 2/3 of us don't even have our piercings anymore! Maybe it was a weird day, but it feels hard to give the benefit of the doubt. Read Less
