This is the third tattoo I have gotten but the first at this shop. I wanted to book an appointment in March with Jay, but he was booked solid until May. He did have a cancellation though, and I snagged that spot up quickly. Friendly service, clean, professional, and talented. I have already set my next appointment with Jay and am totally pleased by how beautiful and detailed my tattoo is. My tattoo healed nicely with no scaring and the highlights and shading are very well done. I highly recommend this shop and the tattoos they give are well worth the money and 5 month waiting list. I received my very first tattoo from Jay Painter. Since then I have gotten more work done by Jay! I absolutely love all my tattoos he's done!! He taken an idea I had and made it 100% better than I dreamt it could be! The shop is super clean and the environment is great!!! When someone is looking to get a tattoo, you need to get one from a respectable establishment, a clean shop, from skilled artists. This shop is clean, the artists are wonderful and knowledgeable and very helpful. If this is your first tattoo, be realistic and don't ask for knuckles, hands, face or head (job stoppers). Tattoos take a few hours and whether the artist charges by the hour or by the piece, respect that the price is the price. Don't haggle, it's offensive to the artist. If you want a quality tattoo you can be proud of, then know it's about $100-$150 an hour, and don't forget to tip. If you don't have the time or the money, then don't get tattooed, and don't go to someone willing to do less. Tattoos are pretty permanent, don't get something you'll just have to cover up later. Style here is traditional and neo-traditional, and artists are genuinely some of the best in the city. Check them out. Read Less
