I thought about getting my eyebrows microbladed but I've been really scared because it's in my face, I was not sure how much it will hurt, and I didn't know if I was committed enough to the idea yet.  Beginning of this year, I finally decided this is the year for one particular reason: efficiency. I spend too much time trying to make my brows look nice on a daily basis that it was getting a little borderline ridiculous. I wanted to get ready in less than an hour again but I've overplucked my eyebrows while in high school and throughout college that they've become sparse and won't grow back like normal so I suffer the consequence of fixing them to look fuller on a daily basis. Anyway, I did my research, read reviews, and ended up having a consultation with Nikki.  First of all, what a nice person Nikki is!  She explained everything to me about the process, answered my questions no matter how ridiculous (and trust me, I had some that qualified under this), and have been keeping an eye on my still healing brows.  She has returned my calls and texts almost immediately unless she was busy when I had questions regarding my newly done brows. I've spent 3 appointments with her because my skin healed in a weird way and have rejected pigments but Nikki is committed to giving me that perfect brow I've dreamed of having which is why I highly recommend her to anyone considering microblading or other permanent make-up procedures. We've gone from microblading and shading to nanoblading and this time, after she's made adjustments with the needle size and used a different method, it looks like my skin is retaining the pigments! As far as pain levels, they varied for me. The second appointment, my pain level decreased to about a 4 but went up again on the 3rd to maybe a 6.  Honestly, the pain is very manageable and she does apply the topical 2-3 times or as you need it.Aside from my microblading, she most recently did my eyelashes and wow! I'm so amazed with the differences between my normal with mascara lashes and these extensions. Yet another improvement in life efficiency as I will no longer have to apply mascara in the morning and no more dark spots from mascara falling out and transferring to my lower lids by the afternoon. I've had this issue due to my excessively oily skin and have struggled having to constantly find that mascara which I no longer have to be in search for!I'm so happy to have found About Face & Body Boutique.  It's charming inside, clean, and Nikki is such a friendly, warm, and overall wonderful person. Nikki is great! I went to another establishment to get my brows done & they didn’t even stay. Waste of $500 down the drain. I had started going to Nikki for lashes and loved them and was explaining my delimia about my eyebrows. She assured me that she would get them all taken care of and she absolutely did. She tweaked different things for me during the process and even changed the shape a bit for me for my 2nd touch up (as I wanted them to be a bit bolder). Please, if you are looking to get your Microblading done, do not go to them. Nicki was nice but nice don't mean a professional at what she does. She stated that she has a background in tattooing and she has done microblading before. I was very, very dissapointed in her work, it was more like a novice. She didn't even know how to arch eyebrows. To do this you have to have mastered it. She definitely does not have the skill to do it. When asked can I see in the middle of the process I was refused. Then when called her and stated that the tails were completely wrong, she stated tails are suppose to be down. I gave her a picture of what I wanted and it looked nothing, absolutely nothing like it. Its does not look like hairs at all, it looks like a tattoo on my brows. A black line, I could have practiced at home if I would have known. One brow is totally uneven and my tails are down like a sad clown. I have to spend more money to get them corrected and go to Kansas City, MO to get them done right. So if you are reading this, please trust me I'm very picky when it comes to my face and would not come on here and lie. I'm on here so you don;t make the same expensive mistake. Please do your due diligence, and do your research and find a reputable person to do your microblading. Regardless if they have a background in whatever...........! P. S. Pissed! Read Less
