If I could give zero stars I would. Not only was I stood up for my appointment not once but twice, the quality of work has plummeted significantly. My first piece by Robbie was quality work and I love it. However the two to follow were subpar. Off center placement and shakey line work is just the beginning. I have a moth that should be almost if not totally symmetrical smack dab on the middle of my throats that is completely asymmetrical as if it were two desperate moths smashed into one. I drove from Olathe Kansas to 61st and Troost to be stood up. No one at the shop. No message. No phone call. Please do not waste your time. There are plenty of quality tattoo artist in Kansas City who will not only respect your time but also respect the skin they are making a mark on that will last your lifetime. Read Less

I made the biggest tattoo mistake and got one on my honeymoon. The guy was all too happy to tattoo my idea without being professional and telling me that it was a poor choice(because obviously I didn't know any better). Safe to say within a few weeks it looked like a terrible blob of crap. I went to 20+ tattoo parlors begging for help and everyone was quoting me over $1k just to cover it. I found Robbie by accidental drive by and i couldn't be happier!! He worked with me to g...ive me exactly what I wanted and allowed me to do sessions to stay in my budget:) I'm a Disney fanatic and he killed it! I don't go a single day without getting compliments and people asking where I got my work done. Even better is when little girls and boys see it then they get really happy. He completed it in time for me to meet Belle at DisneyWorld and it was the best memory I have of myself there. I REFUSE to go anywhere else! It's been a year since my last session and my tattoo still looks like I just walked out and no one can tel it's a cover up! I even have to remind myself it's a cover up. A buddy of mine recommended Robbie to me when I mentioned I had a vague idea that I wanted to cover up an old tat I got when I was 18 (who doesn't have THAT tattoo?). I met with him, we clicked, I told him vaguely what I wanted and, a few days later he had something drawn up. I dug it, went back and basically just gave him my arm and told him "just do something you'd be proud of." I couldn't be happier with his art, his professionalism, or how laid back he made my ink therapy. I have another vague idea for a 3/4 sleeve on my right arm and he's the only one I'd consider seeing. This is one of the best shops around, anything that you can imagine in your head they can put on paper. Very professional and nice people. When you go in you feel more like friends and family rather than just another customer. I've spent well over $2,000 in this shop and I go to them when ever I'm feeling the tattoo bug biting. Someone referred me to Robbie a few years. He has done my last couple of tattoos and does excellent work. Mine were custom tattoos and he made them better than I could have ever imagined.  I get so many compliments on them!   Robbie, his amazing artists, and staff are all genuinely nice people, and great to deal with.
