NOT IMPRESSED! Very unprofessional. I should’ve known something was up cuz they didn’t even ask for id they just asked what i wanted & sat me down. So, here i am in this shop, could be 16 for all they...
NOT IMPRESSED! Very unprofessional. I should’ve known something was up cuz they didn’t even ask for id they just asked what i wanted & sat me down. So, here i am in this shop, could be 16 for all they know, getting a piercing. Then the piercer didn’t even clean my bellybutton area before he started, he didn’t give me solution afterwards, he didn’t tell me the do’s & do nots, & then when i went to pay him, he puts the money straight into his pockets without giving me my change. When i asked him about it he swears he wasn’t paying attention & then gives me my change. I felt like i was treated like this because i was young or something. Had this been an older adult, proper procedures MAY HAVE happened. I honestly don’t think these reviews are real because there is no way this shop has a 5 star rating. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Mine and my wifes favorite tattoo shop, the shop is nice and neat and the artists are top notch, i wouldnt consider getting a tattoo anywhere else

I got my first tattoo here and was pretty nervous going in. Wes was super patient with me and worked with me to come up with a design that I liked. It healed beautifully and I'm very happy with the final product. It's a clean and well-managed establishment. They set the bar high for customer service, too. I would definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to get a quality tattoo in the KC area.

Everybody at Fountain City Tattoo is awesome and personable. Wes did my tattoo there and he was great, they listen to what you want and take the time to give their ideas, and is affordable.

I just got my second piece done by Eric today. Both were fairly elaborate/specific designs and we went back and forth on the ideas for quite a bit of time. He put a unique spin on both of the pieces after really listening to my ideas and preferences. I am beyond satisfied with how both turned out. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo, regardless of if it's his/her first or 100th tattoo. Everyone else in the shop was super friendly and supportive, as well - the shop itself had a super chill vibe. Seriously great work - I'll definitely be going back!

I go to Lacie for my tattoos and people are constantly complimenting her artwork and how beautiful it is!! They're always blown away at the details and how unique each piece is. I always try to take the time to show them the shop's instagram account or give them the shop's address while recommending ALL of the artists, even though I'm partial to Lacie, because everyone here is an exceptional artist. Amazing place, so glad I found it!

I got my first tattoo here and was pretty nervous going in. Wes was super patient with me and worked with me to come up with a design that I liked. It healed beautifully and I'm very happy with the final product. It's a clean and well-managed establishment. They set the bar high for customer service, too.
