I went to my initial appointment in February of 2015. I had two color choices for upper and lower eyeliner. Black and brown. I chose brown because I've never worn much liner. Upon Marcia's recommendation, I had a follow up appointment a few weeks later. Following that, my liner was almost completely worn off within six months and what was left of the liner on my lower lids was spotty. I made an appointment for a do over in January of 2016. I was going to be charged full price again, but Marcia worked with me and didn't charge much for the appointment because I was dissatisfied. But...again, it wore off, almost completely. One last thing re: Faces - I was a bit uncomfortable having the person working on my eyelids watching Amazon Prime movies at the same time. Anyway, following all this, I went to Natural Permanent Cosmetics in Lee's Summit in June of 2016. It was pain-free and the space is very clean and comfortable. I had the choice of any color I wanted. I chose a pretty green. It stayed on. It's still on. This is two years, without a follow up appointment. It's very nice not needing a touch-up. I drove 2 1/2 hours to get my eyebrows done by Marcia. I have researched for over 2 years on how I should get my eyebrows enhanced and I believe Marcia uses the best technique. So these are the items I looked for in a person to apply my permanent makeup: 1. Is the person certified not just trained. (She is both) 2. Marcia performed micro needling (or Collagen Induction Therapy) on my face, neck and hands. I had this done before but Marcia is the expert! She is very knowledgeable, professional and personal. I first went to Marcia for the soft eyeliner a few years ago and had my top and bottom lash line done. It has been so wonderfully convenient to not have to put on eye liner every morning plus have it not wear off on a hot summer day or after a workout. I recommended it to my mother who lives in Dallas TX and she also had her lash line done as well as her brows. After hearing how much she loved having her brows done, I decided to take the plunge and also have my brows done in October. It literally takes me less than five minutes to put my makeup on in the mornings now. For anyone on the fence about getting anything done, you won't be sorry! The discomfort is minimal (I've felt more pain from plucking my own eyebrows) and Marcia frequently checks in with you to make sure you're not uncomfortable.
