My tattoo came out great. Didn't like the $100 minimum rate so much, and the artist who gave me my tattoo wasn't the most friendly guy on the planet, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a great place. Very clean and professionally done. Read Less

Are you kidding me?  This shop, and the people who work there, are the best.  Period.  I've been getting tattooed for over 30 years, and I've been in shops from coast to coast.  Electric Dagger is clean, affordable, and has the most skilled artists (all three of the artists do incredible work in a multitude of styles).  Great location too - fun shop.  Negotiating price, design, and location is like sitting and BSing with an old friend.  They work with you, no nonsense, no pretense, whether it's your first or your 100th, you're treated with equal professionalism.  The whole experience is great.  Jason, Mike, and Mallory are incredible people. If you want a tattoo, this is where you want to get it!!! I've only been tattooed by Mallory (which is an awesome artist) but everyone there has awesome work and are super friendly. This shop used to be named "Black Diamond" and was located on I-55 frontage road in North Jackson.  Shortly before they moved to the Fondren building my husband and I went by and spoke to Jason about some ideas for a cover up on my husband's arm. We called back later and made an appointment with Jason. My husband received a call 2 days prior to his appointment telling him Jason had to meet with an electrician at the new building and had to cancel. My husband works out of town and it is hard to schedule things like this so we waited. I then saved up the money again and called before Christmas 2014 to make a surprise appointment as a gift for my husband. I gave him a card with the appointment date and the cash to do it. I emailed a picture of the tattoo needing to be covered up so Jason could start drawing.  We arranged child care for our 2 kids...for the 2nd time...and drove an hour to Jackson for his appointment....on 12/27/14 at 6 pm. Jason told us he would be another 35 minutes on his current client and then would draw something up bc the pic I sent wasn't clear enough for him to draw something.  He never bothered to respond to my email and tell me the pic was no good. We waited and waited.  We finally walked out at 8:15 pm and he was still working on the same client and we never heard a word from him. Within 3 days we had been to a shop in our town and found Paul at Classic tattoo of Vicksburg to have as much, if not more,  artistic talent and 100 times more customer service.  I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with Electric Dagger!
