I went on Friday the 13th to get one of their special tattoos for 13 dollars. It is my first tattoo, and I was nervous. It was a long wait because it was a special event, but it was worth it. I had the sweetest man doing my tattoo, I think his name was Mike. He calmed my fears, got me comfortable and started on a simple part of my tattoo to calm my fears about the pain. It was the easiest time of my life.Now I have a special cat on my leg and my lucky number, 13. It was a fabulous experience and I am so glad my friend told me about this place. This place was a bummer. Came to get my first, and super small THIN, tattoo. I requested a small heart on my wrist. The artist tried to draw it on freehand and it was terrible. So he designed a better heart. Originally, on paper, the heart looked even. Once the ink was finished in less than a minute, I noticed it was uneven. For this tiny, uneven wrist tattoo, I was charged $50. It's upsetting that the owner screwed up such a small job. Now, every time I look down at my wrist, I just get pissed off. Would not recommend. Christian run a really efficient shop, very clean and comfortable. The tattoo artist are very efficient. The price is right, you get what you pay for. Cheyenne and Jessica are the best, my favorite two artist. If you want an anime or action based tattoo they are the ones to see. There are other good artist there too, but everyone has a favorite. Went in on a fluke while vacationing in Biloxi to get a rose tattooed on my finger in honor of my mother. Brian took me in and opened the shop early for me even though he was clearly a busy dude. We are new to the area, I used Instagram to research different artists to find one I liked. I messaged Jason and talked about the really cool T Rex tattoo I wanted done. He was awesome and super helpful. His work is AMAZING, we had a blast. Saturdays are a crazy day with all of the walk ins, but the shop is friendly and not hard to hang out in if you need to wait. Matt K did the Tattoo on my leg, and it turned out fantastic! Gave me a very fair price, the session didn't take too long, and was very thorough about explaining the entire process before and after. I'd easily recommend him to anyone, and will be coming back specifically to have him work on future pieces. A+ work!! More so, I had to reschedule with him twice due to being very sick at the time, and he was very patient with me. Furthermore, anytime I had a question, he would answer in full detail to put my mind at ease. All of the negative reviews on here are for piercings, and I obviously have zero experience in that regard. Honestly, I'm incredibly upset with my piercing experience. I went to get my septum done while I was on vacation. When he called me in, he didn't show me any of the sterilized equipment or explain how it was going to work-he just said "lie down", cleaned my nose, and stuck me. Not a good way to pierce someone who is visibly nervous. Not only that, but the piercing was incredibly painful-which a septum is not supposed to be and left me shaking for almost an hour later-and he pierced too low instead of in the "sweet spot". One of the barbells fell off about 4 days later and I had to wait until I got home to have it replaced. The piercer I went to at home then informed me that my piercing was not done correctly and the quality of the first ring I had was not good. The one saving grace is that Jason let my boyfriend in the back with me. If I didn't have him there, I would've tapped out while having that ring wrangled through my septum. Read Less

Went in last night to get my first tattoo! For starters, the atmosphere was really cool. Everyone there was extremely friendly and definitely knew how to crack some jokes, which is great when you're nervous and you're trying to lighten up some. My tattoo artist was Jessica and she was very understanding about this being my first tattoo, my questions, etc. On top of that, she was really very sweet and very knowledgeable! UPDATED Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone getting a piercing for the first time. The atmosphere was interesting but extremely unprofessional. I went to get my eyebrow pierced (my first piercing ever). The entire time I was overwhelmed and confused with the whole process, as I did not get consistent guidance from the staff. The staff also looked tired or annoyed, which I'll give them the benefit od the doubt because I did come in later at night. During the pie...rcing, it was completely silent. I don't mind quiet people but I was quite nervous and would have appreciated even a quick how are you? from the piercer. Moreover, I literally had my eyebrow marked and then pierced without being asked if that's where I wanted it. I wasn't offered a mirror during or after, the entire time. I was also never given aftercare instructions which is unacceptable. The piercing looks great, but the experience was awful and I'm not personally pleased with the piercing placement. I'm sure if you're familiar with the shop, or an experienced person getting tattoos/piercings in a rowdy, straight forward environment this would be fine, but I was not. EDIT: The owner, Christian, personally reached out to me and redid my piercing with a free piercing and a refund. He was very nice, funny, very informative and I felt a lot better about my piercings this time around, which look amazing. Thank you so much, Christian! Basically not a well run business.  I called the day before to make an appointment and the guy said that they didn't really make appointments it was more of a first come first serve scenario.  He recommended coming right when the place opens as they get busy. That wasn't a problem for me at all.  I got there right when they open and there was one person before me.  Some guy, I'm assuming a assistant, ask me what I wanted to get done and said cool and left.  Thirty minutes pass and the tattoo artists walk in and so do seven other people.  Out of the five or six tattoo artist, one was doing the first person who came in and then one comes into the waiting area, looks around, and randomly picks a person to tattoo.  This person walked in the door 5 minutes prior.  I started getting annoyed because at this point it had been 45 minutes and other people were being taken to get their tattoo even though I was the second one in the door.  I finally asked some guy what was up and he told me I should of made an appointment.  At that point I left.  I went to Jack & Dianes in Gulfport and immediately saw a difference.  Got greeted and took back within first five minutes even though they were slammed. I literally just got my nipples pierce & lemme tell you my experience was beyond ridiculous. The guy who did it for me looked piss the whole time, no conversations no nothing. He marked the dot on breast & didn't even ask if I wanted to see to make sure it looked right. Throughout the whole time he didn't say anything to make the process a little easier. Afterwards he didn't mention no after care until I asked! If you don't enjoy your job then maybe you shouldn't work there. Read Less

AWFUL PLACE. Not sure about their tattoos (I didn't like their art too much), but don't go here for your piercings. The guy that greeted us was a little rude and looked bored and didn't want to talk to us. He just said "wait for the piercer" every time we asked something simple. & The man that worked on my cousin was VERY rude and not friendly. He's a big guy with a bAld head. We don't know his name cause he never told us. He looked mad the whole time and was short with us every time we would ask a question. He ignored me when I wanted to ask about a piercing I wanted redone.. When he did the piercing for my cousin, he did the markings without asking her if it looked ok or even communicated with her at all. She never even got to see her piercing at all. MattK did my tattoo. It is an amazing piece of work! It is gorgeous and every person that sees it compliments the detail on it. I had my 12 year old granddaughter with me. I let her get a henna tattoo. While she waited for me, she got a great education from Matt and his three other coworkers. They explained why you have to be 18. They made her promise she would never let anyone do a tattoo on her unless they were licensed. They also told her to check out tattoos done by the person who she chooses to do any tattoos she gets. They educated her in the care of tattoos. And they emphasized that she remember once a tattoo is on her, it's there forever. I've worked in a lot of the shops along the Mississippi gulf coast and this, by far, has been the most tight knit and happy shop I've been in. Everyone gets along and has a great time. A lot of younger military members come here because it's the closest to Keesler AFB with a few decent artists. They are over priced and the owner, though claiming to be "An Ex-Navy Seal", is constantly bad mouthing & putting down the military and the United States as a whole. I visited Carnivale in August 2012. Saw an artist named Matt K, he was professional and really took the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He's very meticulous and careful when setting up, double checked the drawing with me and did a great job to make sure I was comfortable during the tattoo.
