Sonia & her shop are awesome. I've been going to her for the last 2 years for two separate pieces. She books out in advance because she's great at what she does and she's in high demand (any good artist will have a wait list, period).
Any questions or concerns I've ever had were addressed promptly, she's extremely accommodating, and great to bounce ideas off of if you're not sure about realistic expectations for a piece.
When it comes to the tattooing experience itself, she is great at distracting with conversation or asking questions. She's always checking in and seeing how I'm tolerating the pain, if I need a break, or water etc.
The other ladies working at the shop are fun to converse with while waiting, and all around I couldn't be more satisfied with my experiences there.
They make great strides to make sure every client is happy with their piece before they walk out the door.
As for some comments stating they're overpriced- someone is putting art on my body, and they're putting their creativity, time, and experience into it. Their pricing is extremely fair considering the amount of work and detail that has been put into a tattoo.

Loved the tat my hubby got by the intern but I feel like he had to pay too much he paid 40 just for a consult then like 250 more for the tattoo plus a 20 tip thats over 300 for a tattoo on his forear...
Loved the tat my hubby got by the intern but I feel like he had to pay too much he paid 40 just for a consult then like 250 more for the tattoo plus a 20 tip thats over 300 for a tattoo on his forearm the size of a baseball. It was a fun atmosphere, clean and great gals working there.

A bit of a wait for appointments scheduling but that's cuz she's the best tattoo artist in Minnesota. Well worth the wait tho! Flexible pricing, beautiful artwork in the shop n for tattoos. I recommend this place to everyone who asks about my tattoos.
Can't wait to see Mrs Sonia soon!

I highly recommend Sonia! First tattoo and it was a breeze! I was super excited and anxious and nervous all at the same time. Sonia and her staff were amazing! They walked through the process with me, answered any and all questions, and in no time flat I was relaxed, and having a great time with great conversation and laughs! First tattoo was a breeze. I was super nervous but Sonia reassured me I'd be ok. She started tattooing me and asked if I was ok about 15 seconds in just to make sure I was comfortable. Second tattoo is still a work in progress, but we spent a lot of time making sure everything was placed how I wanted it, answering my questions, and talking out the game plan for what she wanted to get done during this session. She was constantly checking in with me, and all around reassuring. I just really enjoy how professional, knowledgeable, and relatable she is. I'm extremely happy with how things are turning out and I'd definitely recommend her.

Sonia does amazing work. I have not had the pleasure of being tattooed by her yet but my husband had a portrait of our dogs tattooed on his calf. Sonia was able to take the picture of the dogs, flip the direction they were facing and make them live forever in ink on his calf. The detail was amazing. It looks like our dogs. If you are looking for the best I recommend going to Sonia.

Sonia & her shop are awesome. I've been going to her for the last 2 years for two separate pieces. She books out in advance because she's great at what she does and she's in high demand (any good artist will have a wait list, period).
