I knew when it came time to get my daughter's ears pierced, I didn't want to take her to the mall and get it done with a piercing gun. I brought her to Red Wing Tattoo, and it was a great experience! Casey was so patient with her, even when she started crying and saying she changed her mind. He took his time, explained everything to her, and showed her what he was going to do before he did it. He even had suckers for her which helped her calm down a little. She ended up going through with it and couldn't be happier with her earrings. I've been there easily 10+ times for piercings, tattoos or simply purchasing jewelry. Casey pierced five of my facial piercings and I never had a problem with any of them (I actually only have problems with the ones I did not get pierced by him...). He is experienced with fainters, screamers, punchers-you name it, he can handle it. Unlike two other mouth piercings I received at other shops, all of the piercings he did were straight and perfectly positioned. All piercing advice I have received from everyone at this shop is standard for piercing advice across the board (what to use, what to avoid). Chelsea has now tattooed me twice and is always very friendly, open to ideas and provides honest feedback when you bounce ideas off of her. She is patient during the tattooing process (especially for people who get jumpy after the first hour) and does everything she can to make sure you're comfortable. Once a week I get the pleasure of a stranger asking me about my piece from her and I get to talk her up to people in the cities. Easily the best tattoo shop. I have been there for 30+ of my tattoo and would not trust my skin to anyone else. Chelsea is a phenomenon artist who actually puts art on you. I went here to get advice on a piercing that was having issues. Some lady with red hair and red eyebrows yelled and lectured me for what I was doing for cleaning my piercing when I told her I was advised by another nurse who had the same piercing when it seemed like the dial soap recommended wasn't working. I left in tears after she embarrassed me in front of a man named Junior saying he knew nothing about piercings when I asked to speak to someone else and I went to my car crying. I wasted money and time on this piercing and received extra embarrassment from this lady bobbing her head at me giving me attitude. I even asked her to stop talking down to me and giving me her attitude that I was simply asking for advice. I will never come here again. What a horrible way to speak to me in such a manner when all I was doing was asking for help. Read Less

It was a decent place. I was helped right away and they were all friendly. Wifi went down so I had to use the ATM which charged me and it was pretty pricey. For one cartilage it cost me $50. I was originally thinking about getting three so he told me it would be $70 but then I changed my mind to just one and I wasn't told the price until after. After an incredibly terrible experience here with a certain artist, the owner reached out and did everything he could to fix the damage that was done. He had the work redone, and even paid. The first tattooist had an attitude about my criticisms on the design. I mean it's going to be on my body forever- I have a right to be picky. He then handed me over to a second tattooist whom was much friendlier and made me feel comfortable while getting my first tattoo. All in all a pretty neutral experience. Read Less

Went in to get a cartilage piercing, ended up costing $40. Thought the price was very high for the service provided. Didn't come with any cleaning products either. Service was good and back area seemed to be pretty cleanly.Only negative was the high price. Read Less
