Asked for a shoulder piece that wrapped onto chest. Artist said they’d send me ideas of the design. Never saw anything until went in for tattoo. Went ahead and got what they designed. I did like it after all. After healing, there are parts that were not filled in and a few lines that were not straight. They said they’d send me ideas of the next design at the end of the week and fix the areas of concern. That was 3 weeks ago and I already had to initiate contact the first time around when they fell off the face of the earth for a month. Not very professional. Won’t be going back for the rest of the design. I’m out 460$ for a unfinished tattoo with poor artistry. Read Less

Sam is amazing! I went in wanting to add to a flower I got on my shoulder from my honeymoon. She was able to create the most beautifully colored piece that goes from my elbow, wraps around my shoulder and ends at my mid back. I came to 7th Street Tattoo to see Shannon. Shannon has completed 3 tattoos for me. She strives for perfection and her attention to detail is magnificent. I also love how Shannon customizes the tattoo you present to her, so in some way, it is more original than you requested. I asked her for a solar system tattoo (I gave her the solar system that’s just literal dots). When I got there, she opened her astronomy text book and told me how she wants to really go into details for ...the Jovian planets (who does that!! So awesome!!). It is by far my most favorite tattoo. I’m already planning my shoulder/sleeve tattoo and cannot wait for Shannon to put her magic. She’s extremely creative, natural, friendly, and most importantly, she appreciates the nerd tattoo requests as she is one herself (compliment). She also often uses numbing cream for bigger pieces. Worked Jesse on bringing this to life. He is a SOLID artist and professional. From the first meeting until the last he was on point and had a ton of input. I sourced other shops and artists prior to him and 7th street and it wasn't a good fit or feeling. The other artist and staff I met are phenomenal as well. 7th Street has been where I go for all of my tattoos. I started going there when they were further up the street. Their new(ish) location and larger group of artists are top notch. They’re reasonable, friendly, and professional. I recommend them to anyone who compliments my tattoos (which is rather frequently). I don’t live nearby anymore but I’m willing to make the trip all the way from New Hope to get work done. If you’re thinking about a tattoo they’ll work with you to make your design the best. Walked in and got a tattoo. Cost over 450. Didn't mind it. Went home, came back 2 weeks later for a touch up. Which Jeremy (the guy who tatted) said he'll do touch up for free. His work is guaranteed. Came back and he made all these excuses saying This and that. Well glad my brother didn't go back to him. Like we said we would. The first time we visited Spencer, he was very friendly and did an awesome job.  He gave three of us tattoos, and we were all very pleased.  Recently, a friend went in for a touch up and to get another tattoo.  I went with her, and was very unsatisfied.  Her appointment was at 12:00 - we arrived a couple minutes early and Spencer was outside smoking.  We sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes before he came into the building.  He let her know that he wouldn't be able to do anything too complicated because he had another appointment coming up.  Then, he talked to some other customers for a few minutes, spent more time getting ink ready for his next appointment, and talked on the phone.  My friend decided she wouldn't get another tattoo (didn't want to alter her design based on the amount of time he had available), and ended up just getting the touch up.  When he finally got around to her (45 minutes after her appointment), it was about a three minute process.  Won't be going back to this shop again!
