I got my first tattoo on my daughter's birthday, two months before my sixtieth. We got matching tattoos with one or two minor differences.I am highly recommending these guys to everybody. My time there was fun, funny, bittersweet - everything. I TALKED THE ENTIRE TIME. They are experts, not just in the design but in the execution and follow-up. I totally wasn't expecting to get a discount because I'm former military. My daughter got a discount as well, because it was her birthday. I think we both pretty much made up for the discount with our tips, because we were so impressed.I was always petrified to get a tattoo, I thought it was supposed to be excruciating. I also thought it was going to be an ugly mess after the fact. Neither of the above was true. There were maybe four times that my daughter reminded me to breathe because my breath was hitching a bit. After the fact, I made the wife (of the artist, she does the computer generation) crack UP because I said in all honesty, "I did NOT expect it to look this good." But it wasn't about the artist or his talent. I just thought tattoos are supposed to be like newborns. They're red, and ugly, but you take them home anyway and after a few days you can see what you paid for.No. This was beautiful right out of the box. Best experience with my new family at Ink Shrinks. I've always been afraid to take the next step and actually get my tattoo but I came in to meet with them and was very very happy with my experience.
