I had my very first tattoo done by Jerred. I honestly think he is a great artist with very steady hands however, with each session that took place I began to see things I hadn't seen before. Jerred made me feel very uninformed an when I asked questions it felt like it was a hassle for him to answer. He didn't seem to make me feel very comfortable towards the end. I've been to many tattoo shops that have made me feel very uncomfortable. For many years I put off receiving a tattoo, for fear of being judged and looked down on (a feeling I have felt many times in a shop while with relatives or friends). My experience at Tiger Rose has been the complete opposite of my experiences in the past! Everyone at Tiger Rose are welcoming, and super genuine/down to earth! The price for my walk in tattoo was crazy! I probably should’ve just walked right back out the door when he quoted me the price but I was short on time and really wanted to get it done. I just got a traditional rose outline and a five letter name in cursive. It took about 30-40 mins and was palm sized and Kyle charged me $160! He said it would’ve $280 colored in! I started visiting Tiger Rose 3 years ago & I got my 6th tattoo at Tiger Rose done tonight with Mike (who is awesome) and, again, he totally knocked it out if the park. While Mike is my go to artist I can also vouch for the other amazing artists at the shop. My sister loves working with Kyle, my partner loves Nick’s work, and a couple of my good friends hit up Spencer when they’re looking for something cool! They all have amazing pieces done by these artists. The guys at this shop are awesome at what they do, which is actually only my second favorite thing about the shop. My FIRST favorite is that they’re awesome people. After visiting the first time I never in a million years thought that they would remember me, the second time I walked in I was greeted by name, and now I even consider my tattoo artist a friend! I just got my first tattoo from Donald Casey at Tiger Rose and I could not be happier. I was nervous because the tattoo I wanted required some portions to be out of focus and others had great detail but his work exceeding my best case scenario expectations. It was the first tattoo of a tribute to my daughter and I could tell he took it serious and cared about what I wanted. There's no doubt he's my "tattoo guy" for life. This was my first ever shop experience and I regret telling them that because now that I have more tattoos from other shops I realize they took advantage of my inexperience and overpriced me for a fairly simple design. Metal Mike seemed cool but my tattoo was not up to par at all. I saw him do a beautiful flower of life on my coworker, but he totally didn't seem to care about my design and didn't execute it like o expected he should've. He was so heavy handed that my tattoo i...s permanently raised off my body and I had to go in for a touch up 1 month later (it was basically a black tribal animal, it shouldn't have been so faded that quick). When he touched it up he traced over some lines that were part of the original "cover up".... I walked in here to get pierced on a whim during Art-A-Whirl, and I wish I had gone sooner! Hanna is now my official go-to for anything piercing related. I have plans of many more holes being added to my body, and I love how excited she gets whenever I talk about ideas with her!
