This place is great as long as you're not an idiot. The person who helped me was a gruff biker guy and he had to help a couple of, pardon my language, dumbasses, right before me. (What? You need your ID at a tattoo parlor? What? You can't exactly replicate the drawing I left at home? *eyeroll*) So he wasn't thrilled about present circumstances. Shop was clean. And weirdly fashionable. All the tools came out of sealed packaging.If you're not okay with pain, I wouldn't expect this guy to coddle you.Since microdermals are now illegal to put in (they're defined a surgical procedure), most shops just won't deal with them at all. I am currently working on covering up the 4 tattoos I received at this shot.  After 5 years my lettering is no longer readable,  my vibrant colors faded. I am now embarrassed of my body due to the poor work they put on me, save your money and go to a clean shop with quality artists like tattoo asylum,  in fact they are right down the road,  after serious scars and destroys your body go down the street and make an appointment to fix it.i promise if you go here you will regret it! I went to Serious Ink in July because my brother got one of his tattoos from there and I was new to the city. I had the best experience from the moment I walked in. The shop was clean and the guys were really friendly and helpful. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but I had an idea. Luke worked with me to help me decide what I wanted. On monday of this week i went in with a idea in mind to get ""love"" tattoed on my right arm. I met my artist, Nick and he said, well what do ya want? i said ""love"" and explained how i wanted it. I asked him if i could have him help me come up with a cool design. He was really short with me. He's like, ""I can't go into your head and know what you're trying to do with this desing."" I said, right but if I could just get your help drawing cuz im terrible at drawing. He then grabbed a sheet of paper and a pencil, set it down on their light up table in the employee backroom. he left me there to come up with what i wanted on my own. He said to his co-worker, lets go smoke. i sat their by myself in their breakroom mad as hell. i drew it up though, and as he did the tattoo he didn't say one word to me. We were given Bob as our tattoo artist and were immediately put at ease with his awesome personality and knowledge of tattooing. But that only does so much, as far as the rest goes were were not satisfied. Even after going in for a touchup, as I like to call it a complete overhaul, we are still not satisfied with our tattoos. They are kindergarten quality at best. And what makes it even worse is they were simple black and grey symbols. The outline is messy and the shadowing wis sparse and messy. I just got a awesome tattoo from here and I love it!!! The staff was chill and awesome and it was the most comfortable tattoo and most detailed tattoo I have ever gotten. I have been to many tat shops and love this place. Tony's work is the best. my best friend has a few tats from him that look as good as the day he did them. Bob is also a great! He re-did my ears and cleaned up the scar tissue from many bad attempts and i have never had problem since. I will always get my work done here. Keep in mind, tattoo shops are always busy.
