Travis Bracht did my piece and it is healing beautifully. Came in as a walk in and they had me in the chair very quickly. My tattoo hasn't scabbed at all and his linework is ON POINT!! Probably the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I highly recommend this shop, they are very courteous and professional. My tattoo was sort of silly, one of Garfield with a boombox and they did not make me feel dumb over wanting a humorous piece. So respectful. Also very sanitary and they use Tatu Derm to cover fresh pieces and send you home with some to protect your new piece. Reasonable pricing as well and they are willing to work with you. Walked in today with one of my friends to get some simple flower tattoos. Haley did us both and she was sooo sweet. She redid the stencil as many times as we asked making the perfect variations and recommendations. She wasn't judge-y at all, very relaxed environment and amazing value. I just happened to find Guns N' Needles while searching for a tattoo parlour on google. It had a good rating and great reviews so I just decided to go for it. So, me and some of my friends headed over there, and, to be honest, from the outside it looks kinda sketchy. But, inside is very nice and professional, and it wasn't intimidating at all. Fantastic experiences here. The artists are very friendly and seem to truly enjoy their working space, which leads any customer to feel comfortable and relaxed while in the studio. I've gotten two tattoos here now, both from 'Uncle' Roger, and I've had a great experience each time. In fact, while you're getting tattooed you can enjoy watching old school movies like Indiana Jones! Their before and after care is great as well, and I'll continue coming here as long as they're around. I was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience at Guns and Needles. I had walked into several tattoo shops that day (and times before) and never was I greated so quickly with a smile and a genuine interest in my presence. A friend and I decided to get tattoos on a whim and knew it may be difficult to do a walk-in, but hey if we could get in then might we consider that permission from the universe? Of course. The artist to first check us in was booked solid, but we were able to get started with paperwork while we waited. To be honest the wait didn't seem like much as we were offered a beverage and a place to sit with plenty of outlets. Eventually we got in. The artist explained the process so I knew what to expect and walked me through as we went. Soon enough it was over. The experience didn't stop there as the artist follows a week out to make sure everything was healing okay and answer any lingering questions. Great quality! Right away I wash shown the sterile needles that would be used, and they offered everything to make me comfortable. By far the most considerate artists around. Love this shop. I've been to shops in a few states and this by far is the cleanest shop I've ever been to! Me and my mother in law got tattooed by Ian and he is so patient and awesome! Did a walk in tattoo! From the minute I entered the shop to the moment I left I felt like I belonged! The artist are all friendly non of them are stuck up like you may find at other shops! Travis did exceptional work on my tattoo and made it even more amazing then I thought was possible! The chill vibe and friendly atmosphere are excellent to put you at easy. Everything was kept fully steril and they use single use needles and grips on their guns so you don't have to worry about cross contamination! I've been to a few different shops, and these guys are by far the most friendly, professional, clean, affordable, and skilled.I have three rather large tattoos done by Brian. Every time, he has met and exceeded my expectations, both in execution and design. Welp. My friend and I of 15 years came to visit this shop for a couple of simple tattoos. Everything was fine until staff was questioned about sterility. As someone who works in the health care field (15 years in a provider role) making sure items are either sterilized or autoclaved is of the utmost importance. When prompted to amend the contract regarding sterility-all of a sudden my friend and I smelled like alcohol, which is amazing because apparently we didn't smell like it up until that point and frankly, with all due respect, the staff probably doesn't want to know what alcohol really smells like on us. Thank God Defiant Tattoo came through! I feel like I need to start this by saying... Travis is amaaaazingggggg.I was a walk in with a reasonable request at about 7pm on a Sunday night. (Less than reasonable on my part)   He and Brian were extremely accommodating in getting me scheduled. Brian was busy but Travis was just finishing a piece so I was quoted around half an hour wait time. I hung out in the shop waiting for my turn, was given all of the refreshments I could ever want. Also given free range domination on a candy bowl.  Pretty much amazing. The shop was SO extremely clean and sterile, I probably waited like forty minutes to get in the chair but really, I just watched Travis do his cleaning thing and it was really assuring me I had made the right choice. (I had stopped by another shop right before visiting GNN and one of the artists smelled like he just came from a room holding 1000 cigarette smokers, and his nails were dirty. I was like...byeeeeeee) While getting worked on we had some good conversations, and got to know each other better. I didn't get squirmy until the end and he was a really good sport about it.  Reasonable price, amazing work, and they watched me walk to my car to make sure I made it okay. Can't wait to go back!!
