Would give zero stars if I could. My daith piercing was completely messed up. The top of the barbell fell off so I went to Saint Sabrina's for a new earring (just 5 days after piercing)...they ended up taking it out because it was too deep on one end and placed too shallow on the other. I have 10 other piercings and the guy at Saint Sabrina's was not surprised that I almost passed out when this one was placed! Not only that but the earring used was way too small to allow any room for healing. I followed aftercare instructions better than they were even written (as an RN) and was not really infected. Terrible place, I would never recommend! I needed help after my conch earring was ripped out and I called Ace to see if they could help me put it back in, which they agreed to help. I brought my earring and ball with me and was scrutinized because that jewelry was “antiquated” and Ace doesn’t use that kind. So not knowing what else to do I bought one of their earrings, because I needed something in my ear. Then what happens? My perfectly good earring that I brought with me was thrown away, thanks Randy. I spent the next 30 minutes there as my ear was getting bloodied and he was criticizing the original piercing/piercer. Not only does that make your customer feel bad but charging them $20 to put the earring in on top of paying $20 for the actual earring is ridiculous! I would rather drive 2.5 hours to Duluth to see my piercer then ever set foot in that place again! Read Less

A clean place that has been here for years. He is very into the punisher which should have made me pause. His piercing procedures are not industry standard. But the piercing is healing well. It is one of the only shops that will Pierce minors. I don't think I will be back. Read Less

This is the oldest shop in the twin cities. The man who runs it couldn't be a nicer guy. If you want  tattoo done by a true professional, come here. If you can't deal with pain, don't get a tattoo. I've been to multiple tattoo shops, this one is my favorite. He cares about his customers quite a bit, but he cares about his work even more. Read Less

At first i wasn't sure what to expect, Randy seemed like a really nice guy. I thought it was a little weird that he wanted me to sit in a chair to get a piercing when I've always been laying down. Randy asked ME to put the dots where id like them (even tho he's the "professional") and once he started to pierce me, he stopped half way through my piercing and went really slow. He didnt ask what kind of jewlery I wanted and now here I am 2 months later and i had to take out my piercing. It WAS NOT pierced correctly! The bar was too small which caused it to get infected and not heal! I would not recommended this place at all. He doesn't know what he's doing and i would NEVER trust him to pierce me again. Randy is a really nice man, the place was clean and nice. My brother and I wanted forget me nots for our Mom who we lost last summer. First we both got infections, I literally had red streaks running up my arm before a trip to urgent care (doc said maybe a reaction to the ink but this wasn't my first rodeo). He blew up the picture I brought and it ended up very distorted and not at all what I expected. When I made the appointment he told me $120 and ended up charging me $180. Super disappointed, I kept waiting for the "pretty", it just never happened, it pretty much looks like a third-graded did it. I recently received a tattoo at ace, Randy seems like a nice enough guy, but his tattoo work is VERY poor!!! I had praying hands done a few years back, it looked a little bit incomplete so I asked him to to add rays , and clouds to it. Pretty simple, right?? WRONG!! The rays you can see, the clouds, omg I've had several people ask what is that? A spider web? The last thing you want to hear about your tat is, what is that?? I went in to ask about a Monroe. Randy was there. I asked him where he thought the piercing should go, he drew a dot on my face quite a bit off from hundreds of photos I had looked at. I showed him a few, and he said "do what you want it's your face." Should have taken that cue to exit.....So we moved the dot to a more common area, and he pierce it. It was angled so that it caught on my gums every movement I made with my mouth. He RE PIERCED my face, with a different stone. I don't know if he is a tattoo artist, or just a hack with piercing. The angle was better, however, my lip swelled so much, that I had to go to another store and ask for help. They kindly replaced the bar with a longer bar. I have since just removed my piercing. Never go here!!!! First off, Randy is so god damn rude, you can feel the bad vibes the second u walk into the place... He pierced my tongue a few days ago with the shortest barbell ever & it started to embed in my skin so I made him change it into a longer one. He has absolutely no consideration for others comfortability at all. I told him to stop pulling so hard when he was changing out my tongue ring and he would not stop or listen to me. Went here to get my belly button pierced. The guy was super friendly but I'm sorry this piercing was the worst thing about my day. The piercing did not even go through my belly button- I seriously got my stomached pierced. The jewelry was too small to, so it started slowly sliding through the pierced hole and ended up getting infected. I went to Saint Sabrina's to take it out and they told me I didn't really have a "shelf belly button" so sometimes it's harder to pierce and it doesn't look as good if you don't have that...and if I would have known that, I definitely would not have gotten this piercing. This was about 3 years ago, but I had a very simple crescent moon tattoo done a few years ago, the lines were very thick because i e-mailed a picture of what I wanted to the artist and she blew it up (which made it all pixelized and blurry) then, she traced it and used that as the stencil....I finally got it covered up elsewhere last week. A simple moon isn't hard to draw. Maybe she was a new artist, or something. I'll give the shop the benefit of the doubt, but I wont be going back. Hopefully others have good experiences. Wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Got a lip piercing about 2 weeks ago, woke up with a severe swelling yesterday, went directly to talk to Randy and he told me to ice it for a couple days. I voiced my concerns knowing that this wasn't normal, I couldn't even see the plate it had gone so far inside my swollen lip. He told me it wasn't a big deal, said it's just the swelling. Woke up this morning and a 10 out of 10 severe pain. Went to Saint Sabrina's in Minneapolis to get a second opinion. The guy said it was the worst Medusa piercing he had ever seen, and proceeded to yank it out of my bloody lip. He didn't even charge me for the removal because he felt so bad for me. The piercing had been inserted at the wrong angle and the stud was far too small for my lip. Randys a nice guy I'll give him that. AWFUL piercing and the most pain I've ever been in in my life. Hate to make a bad review for a nice guy but the pain I was in was unbearable and I'd hate that for others. Read Less

If I could give zero stars, I would. I sincerely hope no one will go here for a piercing OR a tattoo. I knew from word of mouth not to get ink there, but I figured how hard could a lip piercing be? Well, little did I know, the owner (of 22 years) himself did the piecing and he did it slanted the wrong way. For 5 months it was fine, but this week it started really hurting and my skin has started to grow over it as my lip tried to push the piercing out. I have wanted my lip pierced since I was in middle school and I'm pissed I trusted this guy. Both times I went there to get a new stud in, it took him almost a half an hour to get the old one out and put a new one in. Absurd. Every other place I've gone for piercings and to have them look at this crap job has been helpful and trustworthy. Never again. Read Less

Absolutely terrible shop. I was completely astounded at the level of unprofessionalism and dirtiness upon entering the store. Being as it was my first tattoo and my artist knew that, he wound up overcharging me for a shit tattoo.This shop is reputable for being one of the worst shops in the twin cities. All of my other artists that I've been to since then have all had the same reaction when I bring up this shop. I am not stupid enough to risk my health with a place that has been cited by the department of health *and* has a really bad reputation amongst other tattoo parlors who see their work and need to clean up the mess to the best of their ability.
