This is my second review for Scottish Rose and this is just telling you that this place beats any other tattoo shop in Fridley. Customer service is awesome here and the day I came in for my second tattoo with Austin, everyone treated me like as if I their friend which I enjoyed. I never felt company like that before in such a long time since a lot of people avoid me at Work. I had surgery the day before the tattoo and I fainted on their bench because i was on medication and my car ride made me dizzy lol. Thankfully peter was there to witness that and was kind enough to help me lol. However, while I was getting tatted, I never felt so damn comfortable in my life. I almost fell asleep to Austin tattooing my leg. It was nice for him to conversate with me about some stuff about tattooing that I had no knowledge. I recommend all the artists here even if I haven't been tatted by other artists besides Austin.

Horribly rude and arrogant. Terrible customer service before I even talked about my wishes for a tattoo. Guess it was more important to sit outside smoking then establishing a new client relationship. Went to a different shop and had an incredible experience and got an amazing memorial tattoo.

I had an absolutely amazing experience here yesterday. Peter has been tattooing for over 20 years and is an amazing artist. Also, he was really fun to talk to (he was a fellow Doctor Who and Star Wars fan, which was pretty cool). I was extremely happy with my tattoo and had a great experience, and on top of that the price I paid was much cheaper than the quote I had gotten from another tattoo shop in the area the day before. He gave very clear aftercare instructions and answered every question I had. I would recommend Peter specifically and this shop in general to anyone!

I had told my husband that I wanted a Tattoo for my birthday. He chose to get a gift certificate from Scottish Rose because they had the best reviews of all the tattoo shops in the area.
Not only is everyone fun and professional, the comradery between coworkers is nice to see.
If a different artist was better at a certain style or if a different artist had more openings there was no hesitation to suggest the other artist.
Now it's just a waiting game until this piece heals up

I just got my first tattoo done here a couple days ago, and the owner of the shop, Peter, is the artist that worked on my tattoo. I came on with an idea, he drew the rest out in like 10 minutes and I fell in love with the design. I was very nervous beforehand because I got the tattoo done on my bicep area, but Peter did a very good job of working with me and was very clean and neat while he tattooed me. On the other spectrum, the people who weren't tattooing me at the shop were all extremely friendly and helped ease my nerves. Extremely good artists here, clean shop, good price, and friendly. I'll keep going here for a long time. Oh, but if you stop in for a tattoo or consultation bring cash because they do not take cards.

The staff was very friendly and was able to help get the vision what I wanted. Not only that, but we were turned away from another shop because I had a 4 month old with me (we were just going for a consultation). It was awesome that Scottish Rose was so open to letting my son whose so small come with. Not only did we get a design drawn up, but as walk ins, they even had time to tattoo 3 of us. Professional, Clean, and friendly.

My mother wanted her tragus pierced so I consulted Yelp for guidance. Scottish Rose was near her home and had great reviews. The shop is clean and welcoming and we were helped immediately when we arrived. The piercer was friendly and gave my mom some welcomed information on what to expect with the piercing - not to mention - her piercing station decor was unique and totally my taste. As with many tattoo shop tag alongs, I was making plans for my own piercings before we even left so I am excited to come back and get work here done myself.

This is a great tattoo shop. They have lots of custom flash on the walls, yet they all love to do custom work. There is a Piercer always there. The have a wide selection of Jewelry and if you don't see what you need they can order almost anything. I wanted my current plugs in a bigger size and they were able to order and have them in the shop in a week. Jenna is super great!Each artist is able to price out there own work. They are all reasonable and care about the customers. The shop its self is always clean. All needles are new and disposed of after use. All other hard wear and machines are cleaned after each new client. I love Nik's style and I have been tattooed by him for almost 8 years now. Peter and Catfish do some amazing work. Catfish is always drawing or painting when he is not with a client. If your looking for a new tattoo defiantly check this place out.

Got a tattoo here from Catfish, and now I will never go to anyone else! Catfish enthusiastically worked with me to create a small custom piece. I absolutely love how my tattoo came out and how well it has healed - no scabbing at all. Not only is everyone very professional and friendly, but they are crazy talented. And the shop is clean, comfortable, and has plenty of awesome artwork to look at while getting worked on. One of the things I really appreciated was that you book appointments and have consultations with the actual artist instead of a receptionist. Between the 4 artists that work there, they can do absolutely anything from traditional to portraits to pin-up to nautical to Japanese to custom, etc. Will absolutely go back there for my future tattoos as well as piercings.

I just got my first tattoo done here a couple days ago, and the owner of the shop, Peter, is the artist that worked on my tattoo. I came on with an idea, he drew the rest out in like 10 minutes and I fell in love with the design. I was very nervous beforehand because I got the tattoo done on my bicep area, but Peter did a very good job of working with me and was very clean and neat while he tattooed me. On the other spectrum, the people who weren't tattooing me at the shop were all extremely friendly and helped ease my nerves. Extremely good artists here, clean shop, good price, and friendly. I'll keep going here for a long time. Oh, but if you stop in for a tattoo or consultation bring cash because they do not take cards.

I really enjoyed my experience at Scottish Rose Tattoo. They came highly recommended by a few people and they did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and was able to help get the vision what I wanted. Not only that, but we were turned away from another shop because I had a 4 month old with me (we were just going for a consultation). It was awesome that Scottish Rose was so open to letting my son whose so small come with. Not only did we get a design drawn up, but as walk ins, they even had time to tattoo 3 of us. Professional, Clean, and friendly.

My mother wanted her tragus pierced so I consulted Yelp for guidance. Scottish Rose was near her home and had great reviews. The shop is clean and welcoming and we were helped immediately when we arrived. The piercer was friendly and gave my mom some welcomed information on what to expect with the piercing - not to mention - her piercing station decor was unique and totally my taste. As with many tattoo shop tag alongs, I was making plans for my own piercings before we even left so I am excited to come back and get work here done myself.

He did an awesome job on our Supernatural tattoos and we're both extremely pleased with his work. I have also had a tattoo that was done by Peter (R2D2) that I always get compliments on- the detail and shading is perfect. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and right at home. This is a great tattoo shop. They have lots of custom flash on the walls, yet they all love to do custom work. There is a Piercer always there. The have a wide selection of Jewelry and if you don't see what you need they can order almost anything. I wanted my current plugs in a bigger size and they were able to order and have them in the shop in a week. Jenna is super great!Each artist is able to price out there own work. They are all reasonable and care about the customers. The shop its self is always clean. All needles are new and disposed of after use. All other hard wear and machines are cleaned after each new client. I love Nik's style and I have been tattooed by him for almost 8 years now. Peter and Catfish do some amazing work. Catfish is always drawing or painting when he is not with a client. If your looking for a new tattoo defiantly check this place out.

Got a tattoo here from Catfish, and now I will never go to anyone else! Catfish enthusiastically worked with me to create a small custom piece. I absolutely love how my tattoo came out and how well it has healed - no scabbing at all. Not only is everyone very professional and friendly, but they are crazy talented. And the shop is clean, comfortable, and has plenty of awesome artwork to look at while getting worked on. One of the things I really appreciated was that you book appointments and have consultations with the actual artist instead of a receptionist. Between the 4 artists that work there, they can do absolutely anything from traditional to portraits to pin-up to nautical to Japanese to custom, etc. Will absolutely go back there for my future tattoos as well as piercings.
