Had two piercings done, healed up just fine but as soon as it was time to switch out the jewlery the hoop turned completely side ways. One side was back too far. Went into the shop and was told its just my body... thanks Mike I'll go else where from now on... had the piercing repierced at a different shop so more pain, more out of pocket cost and now another 9 months of healing. I brought my 9 year old in on her birthday to get her ears pierced. The staff was great! Clean and professional! Update on my previous review. As of today I am seeing possitive progress in the healing of my tattoo. Holly called me and explained to me that due to some processes and different technique that healing may be prolonged due to a multitude of reasons placement being a big one. Although I'm not new to tattoos I am new to the fore arm for the most part and this particular tat was placed where near the inside of the elbo where the skin stretches in the north and releases tension c...loser to 9 o'clock when the sun is lowest in the sky. Line work is great and I'm happy there. I'm happy with hollys customer relations and I'm happy with my tattoo as of now with the reasurance of my artist. It's hard to find an artest that gives a shit about their work enough to be there for the client throughout the entire process I appreciate that. Thank you. I'll post an image on my wall and tag holly when healing is complete. This was my first time getting ink at this shop. It's very rare that I venture away from my usual shop however; I do sometimes have the itch for a spur of the moment tat in which this was one of those times. I am by no means a newbie when it comes to tattoos I have been getting ink sinse I was a kid. Anywhere from self tattooing, basement tattoos, grungy hotel parties, tats at home and work and even stick and poke. I have never had a problem as far as healing goes and for the record; I work and play in some pretty unhealthy environments which baffles me as to why I'm having an issue now. I went in last night and got a piece done on my arm by Holly. Granted the art was sick and whicked cool, I'm not healing very well. Being this piece is a part of my sleeve and is a pretty big portion I decided to take care of it better than I normally do and still I works up this morning and the ink is elevated and being rejected for some reason. Idk if there was a hoop in the needle or what the deal is but there is signs of pudding so I'm just letting it dry out so not to damage the piece further. I'll definitely need a touch up but I'm thinking if I want it done there or not. The people are cool. First time going there, drove all the way from Shakopee. Mike was my artist, and I have to say that I am very impressed with my whole experience there. The tat I got turned out MUCH better than I could have hoped for and I was charged a very reasonable price. The tat I got was quoted at another shop for $600 and Mike did it for $250 and did an amazing job. He is a really cool dude and easy to talk to and just made the overall experience that much more enjoyable. After this, I am never going to another artist and he is the only dude who is touching my skin with a needle. I would highly recommend Mike as an artist to anyone thinking of getting some work done. Fu did my tattoo on my back from a drawing that he drew up from my description and it turned out AMAZING. I love it and there prices are a lot better than other places I've been to for a tattoo.
