First thing I ever got there was a lip piercing. I loved it and Nick is very cool and chill. I also got my Medusa, bridge and septum pierced there, all reasonable prices. My bridge was crooked first of all, and for some reason after I got all these piercings I ended up getting bumps around them that didn't seem to go away. I assumed it was an allergic reaction so I had him take them out, he never told me why that was happening or any solution. So I decided to get pierced else where . I went to the one in Burnsville and I asked them about the weird bumps and they told me about this emu oil they have that should help with it. Thankfully it has worked. Then when I went back to Canvas I saw that THEY HAD EMU OIL! I never saw it before, guess I never payed attention but the fact that Nick never told about it, kinda makes me not trust him with my piercings, he's not too informational. But besides from that, their artists there are amazing! They're so nice and friendly people. My original artist isn't there anymore so I now go to Justin, and his line work is AMAZING! I have three pieces done by him and I love them! But just to warn you if you show him a picture of what you want, he'll take that and kinda make his own version, so If you're picky and want it exact then pick someone else I guess. If you want a realism tattoo, I suggest Megan! My previous piece is done by her and it is AMAZING! I love it! She does such a wonderful job, she's such a sweetheart, easy to get along with and super funny! Overall I love Canvas and will continue to get tatted there

Stopped in to ask a few questions about getting a tattoo. Josh recommended Megan for what I was looking to get. Megan is an amazing artist and incredibly nice. I am still amazed at the details even though it is not 100% complete. Whenever someone sees it they always complement how great it looks. Hopefully I can find the time to get it completed soon!

I've spent the better part of 3 years looking for a Tattoo artist that would be willing to FIX rather then cover up a less then stellar tattoo. My wife and I were on our way to the MPLS Tattoo convention in January when we met Megan Sierra Vickory in the elevator exiting the underground parking lot. After spending the better part of 15 minutes walking to the convention while talking to her we parted ways but not before vetting her business card. Long story short I did some research on Megan Sierra and decided that I would have her do the rework on my tattoo. Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had when getting tattooed! I plan to have her do the rest of my currently planned tattoos! I LOVE her work!

Went in, but their piercer was out of town. They told me they'd give me $10 off if I came back. So I did and got the discount! He was very thorough and informative about how to care for my new piercing. I got a daith piercing, which usually can cost anywhere from $50 to $100. It was $50 there, plus the discount so I was very satisfied with the price and service!

Here I paid $160 for 6 skinny black numbers that cold fit on my finger. I was told the prices were awesome here... but are they?

Got a Mass Effect tattoo done here today by Justin - couldn't be happier. I contacted him a few weeks back to come up with ideas for a piece, and he went way above and beyond with what he showed me. I ended up going with something pretty different from what I originally had in mind because I liked his design so much. His coloring/shading is great as well and really sells the whole thing. Overall, the vibe at the studio is very welcoming. Alexa at the front desk kept us compa...ny as we waited and asked what music we wanted on the speakers. The other artists and the piercer were all super friendly and supportive of each other's work. Very relaxing place to be, even for an extended session. Located really conveniently as well, so you can grab a quick meal or some snacks/drinks at the CVS across the lot. I've already booked my next piece there with Justin. See More

I checked out Canvas. Everyone there is super friendly, and I was told that one of the artists, Justin, really enjoys doing lots of color, so I booked an appointment. I emailed him that I was looking to get a snail on some flowers on my collarbone, and sent a fe...w images of paintings of snails that I like in terms of color and composition, and asked him to come up with something that he would like to do. I just had my appointment and I couldn't be more pleased! Not only was I really excited when I saw the drawing he came up with, but he was also very friendly and easy to get along with, very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this shop- especially Josoer/ Jose morales! (he did AMAZING re-work for me) They were rated as one of the top 20 best tattoo shops in Minneapolis. Work, re-work and cover ups are all phenomenal! Their portfolios and website work pics speak for themselves! Their shop atmosphere is also top notch, laid back but professional. And the artists are all outgoing and friendly.

I had the best experience ever at this shop tonight. I received my 5th tattoo today and Dane did an amazing job. I have never been to the same artist twice in all the times I've gotten tattoos done. But I can say for sure that I will be back to have him cover up my "I was 18 and dumb" mistake tat. Not very often are you able to walk in with a picture, have them change it to be cooler a little bit. And then have them sing backstreet boys to ya while getting worked on. I absolutely loved my experience

I had met him on 2/3 and gave him print out of my tattoo idea (a compass) and some coordinates and a leo symbol and I wanted my tattoo to incorporate all three of these elements. It required some drawing time and the plan was he was going to draw it up before I get there and get this started right away because it required 3ish hours. I received a call 10 minutes before my appointment to ask if I had talked to Will about the tattoo at all. Obviously annoyed and concerned I told the receptionist that we chatted and I dropped off pictures. She assured me he was ready and that she was going to have him go through his paperwork. She called back a minute later to ask if I could bring a print out of what I had given Will... I was extremely annoyed that he was not ready and didn't remember anything and lost what I had given him. It's not something that could be drawn up in minutes, that's why I had talked to him before I made the appointment. So I cancelled my appointment. I am VERY VERY disappointing and won't be turning.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the shop is very clean and our overall experience was truly fantastic.The artist worked with us on our tattoo designs, drew up custom artwork, and the prices were more than fair for the very high quality of work we received. We will definitely be coming back here again for any future tattoos!

While in Minnesota I decided to get my lip pierced. Why do you ask? Well, because I've been wanting it for about three years and because I have a tendency to get piercings out of state. I like to think it is a small hobby of mine. My friend Ryan is pierced up, so naturally I asked him where he gets his holes drilled into his head and ears. He went on & on how great this place was for the price, and how the artists are cool as hell. Okay, I'm down for this. I walked in, felt like I was a kid sister of theirs, they had me sign a wavier, walked me through what they were going to do, and they even helped me pick out my jewelry. Being a bit scared (naturally, needles into your body isn't so fun) they let me bring my friend in the room to hold her hand! Thanks Katie! After some breathing exercises, it was already in. Now I think I look great, got a great deal, and had some fun getting it done. Oh yes, my artists' name was Derek. He is a pretty cool dude, you definitely should see him. He's hilarious and makes you feel welcomed!

Went in, but their piercer was out of town. They told me they'd give me $10 off if I came back. So I did and got the discount! He was very thorough and informative about how to care for my new piercing. I got a daith piercing, which usually can cost anywhere from $50 to $100. It was $50 there, plus the discount so I was very satisfied with the price and service!

Here I paid $160 for 6 skinny black numbers that cold fit on my finger. I was told the prices were awesome here... but are they?

Got a Mass Effect tattoo done here today by Justin - couldn't be happier. I contacted him a few weeks back to come up with ideas for a piece, and he went way above and beyond with what he showed me. I ended up going with something pretty different from what I originally had in mind because I liked his design so much. His coloring/shading is great as well and really sells the whole thing. Overall, the vibe at the studio is very welcoming. Alexa at the front desk kept us compa...ny as we waited and asked what music we wanted on the speakers. The other artists and the piercer were all super friendly and supportive of each other's work. Very relaxing place to be, even for an extended session. I am a big fan of tattoos with a lot of color, so when I was looking for a place in Eden Prairie to get some work done (I normally go into Minneapolis for my tattoos, but it's nice to have a place close to home, too!) I checked out Canvas. Everyone there is super friendly, and I was told that one of the artists, Justin, really enjoys doing lots of color, so I booked an appointment. I emailed him that I was looking to get a snail on some flowers on my collarbone, and sent a fe...w images of paintings of snails that I like in terms of color and composition, and asked him to come up with something that he would like to do. I just had my appointment and I couldn't be more pleased! Not only was I really excited when I saw the drawing he came up with, but he was also very friendly and easy to get along with, very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this shop- especially Josoer/ Jose morales! (he did AMAZING re-work for me) They were rated as one of the top 20 best tattoo shops in Minneapolis. Work, re-work and cover ups are all phenomenal! Their portfolios and website work pics speak for themselves! Their shop atmosphere is also top notch, laid back but professional. And the artists are all outgoing and friendly.

I had the best experience ever at this shop tonight. I received my 5th tattoo today and Dane did an amazing job. I have never been to the same artist twice in all the times I've gotten tattoos done. But I can say for sure that I will be back to have him cover up my "I was 18 and dumb" mistake tat. Not very often are you able to walk in with a picture, have them change it to be cooler a little bit. And then have them sing backstreet boys to ya while getting worked on. I absolutely loved my experience

I had an appointment on Friday, 2/19, at 4 pm with Will. I had met him on 2/3 and gave him print out of my tattoo idea (a compass) and some coordinates and a leo symbol and I wanted my tattoo to incorporate all three of these elements. It required some drawing time and the plan was he was going to draw it up before I get there and get this started right away because it required 3ish hours. I received a call 10 minutes before my appointment to ask if I had talked to Will about the tattoo at all. Obviously annoyed and concerned I told the receptionist that we chatted and I dropped off pictures. She assured me he was ready and that she was going to have him go through his paperwork. She called back a minute later to ask if I could bring a print out of what I had given Will... I was extremely annoyed that he was not ready and didn't remember anything and lost what I had given him. It's not something that could be drawn up in minutes, that's why I had talked to him before I made the appointment. So I cancelled my appointment. I am VERY VERY disappointing and won't be turning.

While in Minnesota I decided to get my lip pierced. Why do you ask? Well, because I've been wanting it for about three years and because I have a tendency to get piercings out of state. I like to think it is a small hobby of mine. My friend Ryan is pierced up, so naturally I asked him where he gets his holes drilled into his head and ears. He went on & on how great this place was for the price, and how the artists are cool as hell. Okay, I'm down for this. I walked in, felt like I was a kid sister of theirs, they had me sign a wavier, walked me through what they were going to do, and they even helped me pick out my jewelry. Being a bit scared (naturally, needles into your body isn't so fun) they let me bring my friend in the room to hold her hand! Thanks Katie! After some breathing exercises, it was already in. Now I think I look great, got a great deal, and had some fun getting it done. Oh yes, my artists' name was Derek. He is a pretty cool dude, you definitely should see him. He's hilarious and makes you feel welcomed!
