I took my daughter to Joy, the piercer at Vivid Inks yesterday. Joy was so wonderful and professional! My daughter has a history of debilitating anxiety and Joy made her feel absolutely safe and comfortable. She measured, put in mock rings to make sure I liked the placement, told me what she was doing and was super personable. I will definitely be going here again!! I got my nipples pierced a few weeks ago by Joy and I'm so glad I chose Vivid Inks. Joy is super sweet and you can tell she's very educated not only on just their piercing process but it's effect on your body as well. Obviously I was scared to get such a piercing but it was a very relaxing and welcoming environment and she was very precise with everything. She answered not only all of my questions but my friend who went along with me and got a recent piercing elsewhere questions too. You can tell she genuinely cares. Cory did my tattoo about 4 years ago, prior to his opening vivid. First off, the work was top notch. It was a difficult cover and he knocked it out of the park, taking my concept to a point where is worked to cover up the old tat. He is fastidious about cleanliness, and his shop was immaculate, as I'm sure vivid is. I spent ten hours of my Saturday at Vivid Inks with Cory Torran getting a half sleeve done. I had the greatest experience someone could have getting a tattoo, and that tattoo turned out better than I could have imagined. Cory is an amazing artist, so you can guarantee that whatever tattoo you get will be exactly what you were looking for or better. Everyone who works there are great people and go above and beyond to make sure you are relaxed and comfortable during the whole experience, Cory let me pick out our pandora stations throughout the whole day, ordered us lunch, and was open to any changes or ideas throughout the tattooing process. I am so glad I stumbled upon this place because it is truly an Ypsi treasure. The shop itself is aesthetically pleasing, and extremely clean. The staff welcomed me with huge smiles and provided excellent client care. And Cory. Cory is AMAZING. Not only is he a crazy talented artist but he's also really kind and calm.
