This isn't a traditional review, but I feel I must share my experience with others. I've been getting tattoos since college, so about 10 years or so. I've received tattoos in Detroit, Redford, and Mount Pleasant. I have an art degree and I know every style of tattoo. What I'm saying is I know what I'm talking about. I know how a tattoo shop should be, and I know how much tattoos should cost. For some reason my experience here was different. I pass by this place going and coming from work all the time. I have my own tattoo shop that I go to all the time but I decided to give them a try because they are literally in walking distance from my apartment. So I arrive here around 12:30pm or so and the first thing I see is a sign that says cash only. This was a surprise to me because every tattoo shop I've been to takes debit and credit cards. Heck, my usual tattoo artist has a tablet with a credit card slot on it. Anyways, the sign also had arrows that pointed in different directions to places with ATMs; the liquor store and the gas station. So I go to the liquor store to get some more money and came right back. Now the tattoo I wanted was simple; I just wanted two words in cursive, real small, on my biceps, that's all. I've been getting tattoos for years so I know the price should be no more than $60 per bicep, $120 total. So I walk in, all the way to the back, and eventually I was greeted by someone. For some reason he had a hard time understanding what I wanted and gave me this look that made me feel uncomfortable. He then called over another artist, the only free artist who could tattoo me I guess. This guy looked like he just woke up from a nap or something and looked completely uninterested in tattooing me for some reason. I told him what I wanted and he gave me the price of $350. I'm thinking I must of heard him wrong and asked again. He told me $350 for both arms. I'm like what, $350 for that. I guess he didnt want to tattoo me and gave me a bogus price so I would go away. It worked so I said no thanks and walked up out of their. I went to my usual shop in Livonia, eternal tattoo, was treated 100 times better, and I got the tattoo I wanted for the reasonable price of $120. I'm not gonna say why I think I was treated differently, but I will say that every tattoo shop is ran differently and its always best to shop around for the best prices. This place probably does good tattoos, but I'm just going by first impressions and it definitely was not a good one. Read Less
