Chroma was great from start to finish. Hands down the best tattooing experience I’ve had so far. The front desk is run smoothly, I was able to make my appointment and put down $50 to hold my tattoo date. The aftercare instructions were also in my inbox before I left the shop. Super clean and comfortable surroundings. Cam was really great to work with. The consultation was helpful and got me to focus on what I really wanted. He created a completely original piece and even changed the color of one part last minute when I asked. It is pricey, but with tattoos - you get what you pay for and when it’s permanent, going cheap isn’t the best route. I’ll definitely be returning to Chroma for my next artwork! Read Less

They made sure i was extremely comfortable during the whole process. I've never had a "go-to" place or person for tattoos and piercings but I do now! Karlos was great to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. I'm super happy with my tattoo (he did an awesome galaxy background and touched up this moon tattoo I have). I bought a few new nose studs when checking out and the lady (I didn't get her name) was super helpful and even put them in for me, since I didn't have experience with that kind. I loved everything about my experience at Chroma. I appreciated the in depth consultation with the artist. We ended up changing my design based on the outcome I wanted and it was exactly what I wanted. Cam was my artist and was very knowledgeable about his craft - which is what you want when you're getting something permanent on your body! Jamie the owner was also very accommodating. I had an awful mistake permanently etched into my flesh. After years of ignoring it and tossing around the idea of reworking it, I decided to make something happen. I called around and spoke to many shops. One common theme with tattoo shops was poor communication, lack of follow through, and lack of professionalism. At least that had been my experience. Then I called Chroma. The receptionist / appointment setter was friendly, helpful, and on point! I chose John Vasquez to do... my tattoo based on his portfolio. Take a good look, Chroma has some VERY talented artists in-house. After a little back and forth email between John and I he sent me a design that exceeded my expectations, and he did so quickly. Last night I came in to get it done. The shop is clean, staff is friendly, and its set up to make you very comfortable. John was very friendly, patient, informative, and highly skilled. He coved up my mistake (aka The dragon fetus) on my leg with his original design of a Saturn V rocket. Now my leg is a piece of art and no longer a reminder of a poor choice. 10/10 would recommend Chroma and John Vasquez. Ill be back very soon for another piece. From the moment I looked this place up to the moment I stepped in this place I knew I made the right choice! Super clean facility, very friendly staff and amazing artists! I love the waiting area, comfy couches, tv with game system...very cool touch!!! Jon Vasquez did amazing job on my tribute tattoo, he took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and the coloring that he free handed took it to another level!! So many complements within minutes of debuting the tattoo! I came in to have a lobe re-pierced and decided to get a cartilage pierce too. Kim was really nice, explained the whole procedure and paid very close attention to keeping things sterile. I chatted with one of the tattoo artists while I was waiting for her to prep the room. He was very personable as well. The place had a good vibe. I have been working with Karlos on a custom memorial piece for four months now. When I went in for the consultation he listened to all of my ideas and even took the time when designing it to put a few of his own ideas to help make it flow. This piece has been coming along better then I could have ever expected. The sessions are long and sometimes painful but he always takes the time to make sure I'm comfortable and stops occasionally to see if I need anything. First of all, I am in love with the shop. Its so clean and welcoming. There is a lovely sitting area with entertainment options in case you have someone waiting on you to finish. I can imagine the difference it makes to have a tv and game systems for those who need something to pass the time. The owner took my mom back, changed out a post in her piercing and had a wonderful talk with her. She was gentle and friendly, something I always appreciate when it comes to dealings wit...h my mom. Thank you for taking the time with her! This is my second experience with Karlos, my first with him at Chroma. I loved the private room, tv set up, and of course the artist. He is always kind and considerate and always is very intune with how you are feeling. He knows when you are really starting to feel it, he pays attention and makes sure you are as comfortable as He can possibly make you. He even pulled up a chair for my mom to sit next to me if she wanted to stay, the little considerations are so nice! He took my general pictures and made a wonderful custom piece for me that had already not only amazed me, but my family who didn't understand the point of tattoos. Not only that, he took into consideration the other piece he put on my arm three years ago and helped incorporate bits of it so it would coincide wonderfully with something that isn't even the same style. I thought it wasn't possible but he did it! I'm in love, my family is dumbfounded, and I've already been stopped to ask where I've gotten the work done at quite a number of times. During breaks, he's always thinking. Coming out and taking a look to see what to do next. The man is a true artist and I have no problem giving him creative freedom with what he needs to do with my tattoo. I fully trust him. After doing extensive research I ran into an artist by the name of Karlos. The guy treated me as if he was doing me a favor. I wanted to get a tattoo but couldn't explain the vibe the dude gave me. He made it seem as my ideas were whack and blew off my ideas. I understand that he is an artist and he knows what's best but I'm still a paying customer with over 5 tattoos. I had an awful experience at this tattoo parlor. I walked in and the artist was sitting by the door he didn't stand or greet me. He just looked at me. I told him what I wanted which was extremely simple. He didn't ask any questions, went into the back and came out 10 minutes later with something he typed out onto Microsoft word and printed out. I told him I wanted it smaller, and perhaps a different font. He told me he will not change the font or size at all and there was nothing he could do. I asked him to make the lettering more spaced out and he told me I had an attitude and that I'm annoying him. He was extremely rude, unprofessional and not willing at all to help me find a piece that I would have on my body forever. I will never return here again! Awful experience. Read Less

I wish i had the magical words to convince anyone who wants to get tattooed to undoubtably pick Karlos to do the work. Karlos just finished my third piece and im absolutely in love with my body ink. Karlos is a true artist with skill and craft. His kind demeanor and attention to detail will leave you with a piece that you will adore forever. Its incredibly hard to trust someone to put something on your body that you have to look at everyday for the rest of your life, but Karl...os gives you something to admire everytime you see it.
