Original review was 5 star: I went for their semicolon charity event and will definitely be back for my next tattoo. The vibe was definitely chilled, great atmosphere! Justin did my tattoo was awesome with everyone, the other artist was really good with his clients as well. Even with it being a charity event they took the time to make sure that they understood what everybody wanted and made sure to meet their expectations. I would definitely recommend them and they stand behind their work 100%. The first place that I went for my 1st tattoo doesn't. Great artists with great hearts. If you want someone who cares about making your tattoo go beyond what you expect go here they will make sure it does. Update: my reason for lower stars: I called twice wanting a piercing. The 1st time they couldn't even give me a price. The 2nd they "thought" it was the price both reasons, " The person who does it isn't here now". To run a business you should at least know the prices. I get tattoos can be a little more difficult to price but there should not be a question about piercing prices. At least say, "They start at $ but may depend on the complexity ". Read Less

When there and got a tattoo done i really liked it was told if you need toch ups just get ahold of me tryed to get ahold of the shane guy for a few months no responce then finally after about 3 weeks o yeah i can toch it up for you then no responce again dont think i will ever go there again some of the tattoo dosnt looked finished and most of the color faded out Read Less

I really recommend this place me and my mama got matching tattoos we didnt have an appt. either they charged us the shop minimum of 60 since they were small tatts which was good. They're all super chill and easy to talk to they made all the customers that came in like they were old friends they gave us they honest opinions when we asked for suggests. Shane did both of ours tatts he was really quick, super clean, does neat work and doesn't try to butcher your skin. The other artist there with the glasses does really good work too. Got my tat yesterday and it doesn't even hurt anymore and there's no scarring its so cute...will be getting more done here. Read Less

I got my navel piercing done here, and after a year it refused to heal. It wasn't rejecting, it just wouldn't heal. I did all the recommended cleaning strategies, and nothing worked, so it might have just been the way it was pierced. Anyway, I ended up just taking it out and letting the hole heal up. May not be a direct value of the business, but I'd just be careful if you plan on getting pierced here. Read Less

Buyer beware, you don't get what you pay for, the owner Justin will charge you 500 dollars for a CUSTOM Piece, then he'll complain the whole time when the customer is gone, one hour before before the appointment he will copy a picture from a book, and tell the customer here is your custom piece. I went in with a bunch of coworkers to get tattoos. We all got different variations of the semi colon tattoo (look it up if you don't know the meaning behind it). There were about 15 of us and Justin, Bear, Krystal, and the dude with tattooed eyes (sorry I didn't catch your name) were so awesome. They were patient with us and very accommodating. I've gotten tattoos elsewhere and I've never experienced such friendly, down to earth artists like these guys at Dixie tattoo. I highly recommend you check them out. Read Less

I was pleased with the visual work on the walls and Matt came highly recommended. But, when it came time for my appointment he was a no-show. I was disappointed. I waited an hour after my appointment to see him, and no one offered to call him or find out where he was. When I went to reschedule they said they could not at this time? Dixie tattoo, first off this place is one of the cleanest tattoo shops I've been to. Staff are very professional and friendly, they'll take care of all your body art from small to large.
