Truly is one of the best shops out here! Atmosphere is great and welcoming. Very clean which is the number one thing you want to see when you walk in. I’ve got four pieces of work done here, after getting the first two at the same time I was hooked to the place. I’ve only had Jamie do my work for me and I couldn’t be more thankful for the type of great person she is and the great work she’s done for me! I make sure to send people to that shop when I know they’re trying to get work done! Because honestly ive gotten my money’s worth in this place from Jamie, its not about the money ITS WHAT YOUR PAYING FOR and im more than satisfied with what I have. Came here for the first time on October 13th, for the flash sale of the 13 dollar tattoos. I was here for a good 11 1/2 hours waiting with a couple others at first, then 2 of us left, leaving just my sister and I. While waiting, the staff were going as fast possible, but also at the same time, taking their time. My tattoo came out great and healed well too, the staff were very kind to us, and we felt comfortable the whole time. My artist was a cool guy (I forget his name unfortunately), and treated us kindly. I recommend coming here for work. While I didn't get the chance to see my artists full potential on myself, the work he does on others is amazing (photos and his own personal artwork he's drawn). When it's time for me to get my next tattoo, I'd consider coming back here as my first choice. I recently went to Metal Moon for the first time to get my 2nd tattoo. Steve was my artist and he was probably the nicest person I have ever come in contact with. He is incredibly personable and I greatly enjoyed talking to him while he worked on me. All I got was a simple Simba drawing from The Lion King and I was initially worried that he would be irked with me for choosing something so small but he had the best attitude about it and it came out so clean and I can't stop staring at it! He even told me not to worry about tip when my card didn't ring up for it (of course I grabbed cash and came back to give it to him. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I hadn't). I definitely plan on going back to Metal Moon in the future and look forward to working with Steve again. Read Less

Had half a dozen tattoos here from my fiancé and me. All of them are fantastic quality and above average artwork. The building itself has lots of entertainment while you're waiting for someone to get their work done. Jamie the owner is an amazing person and a lot of fun to talk to while you're getting work done. The owner has horrible customer service! A group of us went in for nip piercings yesterday  and there was a sign offering piercings $20. The owner states the sale was old that it ended June 30th and yesterday was July 10TH  (even though the sign had no expiration  date) she then has another artist take the sign down and throw it away.  I immediately  decide I will not be getting mine done here. The rest decide to stay. I tell  the owner well we already saw the sign when we came in and it did not indicate an expiration.  She totally ignores me and does not honor the price on  the sign (like any good owner should ). As we wait amongst eachother we discuss  how  we will document this issue on social  media and the owner overhears us and says is there a problem? I tell her yes, the fact that u had that pricing posted upon our entry and did not honor  it is a problem! She NOW  states  that pricing  was only for upper ear piercing, not nip piercings (again something  NOT posted on the sign). Whatever! I do not believe her and if this was the case it would  have said that! So just wanted to let Metal Moon   know if it had been up to me NONE of us would  have spent our money with u as u are horrible  as an owner and the way u handled that situation  was not customer friendly! I went in once because I liked Jamie's work on her Facebook page but after she insulted the tattoos I already have there's no way I'd do business with her. Mine were done by a reputable place and my artist has been doing it for 25 years and to have this chick insult his work and she hasn't even been doing this for 10 years let me know the level of professionalism this place lacks. Do you really think insulting my other tattoos will make me want to come back here? Try working on your bedside manner, chick.I wanted a custom piece that Jamie just didn't seem up to drawing. If you're a professional artist I should be able to get a simple mock up to see if you can do the job. I wasn't able to get any prices out of her, not for specific sizes or times. If you can't even ballpark it how can you call this a business? If you want my money you have to tell me up front how much it will cost, not after. I checked out the facebook page when I got home and laughed myself to tears at the price they quoted for a small tattoo. $100 for a tiny Hello Kitty flash art that you would pay $60 anywhere else. My wife dearly loved our very recently deceased pug.  Sebastian looked at several pictures and did an extraordinary tattoo on her.  Captured his unique look.  Uncanny how good it is.  She also says he is really nice - important as it was her first tattoo and we both were rather anxious.  We picked Sebastian from having seen him compete on TV's Ink Master.  The talent and personality shown on that program came through in person. I live in the area and took notice in the shop when it opened up. I finally decided to give it a go the other day when I chose to get a new piercing. As soon as I walked in I immediately felt welcomed. The shop had a nice feel to it, unlike some shops that give off the wrong vibe. I really dug the local art they had put up and even ended up purchasing a piece. The shop was extremely clean, and I couldn't be happier with my piercing.
