I got two small, simple tattoos done a few months ago, one was a lotus flower (no shading, no coloring, just lines) on my wrist and the word "beautiful" on my foot in the handwriting of someone very important to me. Both were done super sloppy. The flower had uneven linework and the tips of two of the petals weren't even touching, but I knew I could always go back for a touchup to get those things fixed easily. The handwritten tattoo, that's another story. I provided a photo of the writing I wanted, and the letters tattooed aren't even close to what the handwriting looks like. I didn't realize the stark contrast until I did a side by side comparison of what I provided and what was tattooed and have been legitimately upset ever since. Yeah, touchups are free, but why would I subject myself to more possible screwups? I have a consultation at another studio tomorrow to fix both tattoos, fingers crossed that they can! I'm not saying don't use Aces, as it is clear that others have had great experiences with the same artist that I used as well as the other artists there, I'm just saying do your research. Read Less

Didn't get any ink done here but would like to say that these guys were very helpful when I had my car stolen nearby recently. They let me use their computer and phone. Really nice people. Their place looks like a nice, clean parlour so I recommend checking them out if you are looking to get some ink done. Read Less

Our files get taken at the end of the month and I can't just go look for it and re copy it. You need your birth certificate no matter what if you're under age. Even if you come once a week. It's required. I tried being so nice to you but you were rude and mean because I was just doing my job here and following the rules, I'm the manager here and would be happy to give you a free piercing if you bring your birth certificate,.... I got three of my tattoos here, and everyone was really cool. When I got my first tattoo I was very scared but everyone at the shop was there comforting me so that it wouldn't be such a bad experience; turns out it wasn't. Got my tragus pierced here and it was completely botched. At first I was excited and thought that everything was fine until I went to another nearby tattoo parlor with a friend that day to get her dermals done. The employee at this tattoo parlor told me that the piercing was not only pierced with the wrong jewelry but not even pierced in the right place in my tragus! I was very disappointed and he was kind enough to take it out for me immediately. If it had not been taken out my body it would have rejected the piercing in about a month and I would have more scarring. My friend got her navel done at the same time I went and hers was also pierced with cheap jewelry and pierced crooked!!!! I will not return to ACES. I honestly don't even want to give one star but yelp gives me no choice. Read Less

Ace tattoo's is the place to go for very professional tattoo work. The staff is very talented and uber=skilled in the tattoo arts. RICK did my last tattoo...he is amazing!!!! The line work is perfect. Color right on point. Rick has awesome people skills and makes his customers feel very relaxed, while working at a pace that is quick and precise. He even added his own personal touch that was not part of my original design, he asked me first of course, and I trusted his artistic opinion telling him to go ahead with it.  Was not disappointed at all. In fact, the extra touch of design/color that he added made the whole tat come perfectly together, even better than expected!!!  I will go to  no one else EVER for a tat, unless of course KatVonD comes to town  =)I have posted a pic of my tat on my profile if you care to see a fine example of Rick's fabulous work.
