A friend recommended ironclad when my daughter decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. They were very professional and friendly. The tools were all sterile, the storefront and back room were both very clean. My sister thought the price ($103) was a bit steep, but I thought it was well worth it. For piercings, I do not trust anyone else. Chase did my nose a few years back and Mike Moore, the owner, just recently did my mid-lobe. Both were a complete piece of cake, quick and easy and practically pain-free. But it's the personal attention afterwards that has really made me a devote. My nose was the first with cartilage for me and it being so prominent, I was worried about scarring. The staff at Ironclad were always available to answer questions or just check to be sure... I was healing properly. When I had some issues switching from a stud to a ring on my nose (mainly because of fit and placing), both Chase and Mike put up with several visits from me over the course of months to keep switching out jewelry and trying to get the right fit so my nose would not reject it. I just went in today, during my lunch hour, to get a helix piercing. Which I only had about 35 minutes to get back to work. There were a couple of customers ahead of me and Mike promised that he could get me out in 15 minutes. I didn't mind coming back, but he said that we'd play it by ear, and if I had to run then we could figure it out. While I waited I overheard some of staff talking to potential customers getting tattoos and or cover ups, they definitely know what they're talking about. They took their time listening and understanding the needs of the customers. By the time Mike got to me, I had about 15 minutes to get back. Mike explained everything to me while doing the process, it didn't really hurt as much as I'd expected and he was super nice. I was only about 3 minutes late, but it was worth it. Such a positive experience! Mike was so kind and gentle with my 6yr old daughter. What I especially appreciated was that he explained everything he was doing to HER, not just us. By actually addressing her directly it's obvious he respects even the littlest of clients. He treated her wonderfully. I always went to the restaurant next to it and never went inside Ironclad. It just looked like some small tattoo place and didn't think much. Later when my friend and I decided to get a piercing, I found out this place had an impressive rating...and I'm not disappointed! Facility was very clean, courteous staff and I loved their display of piercing jewelry (it looked like a mini museum). The guy who did the piercing for me and my friend (I wish I remember his name) was very professional and friendly. Very chill guy. Decided spontaneously to go get new piercings with two of my friends the other day. Im very skeptical about going to a new piercer after finding one I am comfortable with after drama with previous piercings. Came here to get my first piercing and had a really good experience. I was nervous at first but Mike made me feel at ease and my nerves just disappeared. He let me know everything he was doing step by step and it was over before I knew it. Quick and easy with very minimal pain. Mr. Mike pierced my daughters ears. She is four and he was very patient and so kind. Everything was sterilized and completely explained to us.
