I went to this place as a last resort because getting my tattoo done anywhere else was a hassle. The woman who helped us stayed after hours to help me and was very very down to earth. However, I had gone to the bathroom before I got the tattoo and the bathroom was kind of nasty. I know this isn't the place that customers see most, and is not where you get tattooed at, I just felt like they hadn't put much effort into cleaning it. You could tell this bathroom had been dirty for a long time, not just recently since there was a film over things. I was then directed to a room that a guy led me to (he didn't seem to speak English very well, or at least understand my accent). The room was also not super clean. The walls you could tell had had things stuck on them and ripped off, and the floors were very unclean. The equipment, however, looked okay. This was my first time getting a tattoo so I wasn't really sure what to expect, but overall I could say that it was obvious they didn't care much about keep the place Uber clean to make customers feel a little more comfortable. The actual guy himself had a very hard time understanding what I wanted. I wanted a simple heart outline. He wanted to place the heart upside down, and when I told him to flip it around he didn't quite grasp what I was saying so I had to take it from him a turn it the way I wanted. I showed him the picture and how it looked and he kept telling me it looked the same and didn't really understand that I didn't wanted the heart side ways, I wanted it up and down and tilted to the right a little. I attached the first photo, which is the one I wanted and the others are the actual tattoo. I asked him to redo the purple outline because If you can tell in the first photo the woman has her arm sideways a bit. I turned the photo to show him it wasn't that far tilted and he kept saying "it same". It honestly looks great and I haven't had any issues with it but it was very hard to communicate with the artist because he couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand his accent. Overall I would say it was an okay place. My tattoo ended up great. The lady in the front is super nice and helpful too. The place just wasn't super super spotless if that's what you're looking for. Went in & was promptly greeted & helped...got a nose piercing the room & the shop were very clean. The young woman that did the piercing advised me not to pierce to close to my old one. She went through the cleaning & after care instructions several times & made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. I definitely recommend this shop. Read Less

Dan is amazingly talented! He made a shitty tattoo I had for years into a piece of artwork so lovely I could cry. I haven't gotten any ink from Gabby, but her work is also beautiful! Let me just start by saying I love this place! Every single time I go there I get the same experience and am treated with respect. Both me AND my husband have had tattoos done here and not only were the prices fair we got great work done. Gabby has been my tattoo artist and had never disappointed. Today she finished my sleeve and I literally am in love with it. Dan has done work for my husband and he also has unique, attention to detail work. I went to Baby dolls to get snake bites done i never had any piercings done before the lovely piercer there Meghan made me feel so comfortable she answered all of my questions qwelld a lot of fear i had as someone who again never had a piercing before done in his life she made sure i was comfy at all times she spend a good 5 minutes to make sure my piercings where exactly where i wanted them she even used a ruler just to be double sure and when my body was reacting to the piercing she had my friend go get something with sugar so i would not die and calmed me down the entire time we giggled and talked about other stuff and made sure i was ready to go i couldn't even have asked for a better experience from her or the parlor its self and she sent me home with a care lost because lord know i have the memory of a gold fish with Meghan's information so if i have any questions i can contact her at any moment i have had my snake bites in for about 36 hours and i don't regret a moment of it and going to Babydolls was definitely the right choice and i will be back Read Less

Went in recently kind of last minute (about an hour before they closed) and had a vision for a tattoo that I've wanted for a couple years, and Dan's enthusiasm about my idea was awesome! He was like "I know we're closing soon, but I want to tackle this because it's going to be awesome!" It turned out to be one of the best pieces of art I've ever seen. The rest (nine) of my tattoos were done at Babydoll's by Gabby. I can’t say enough good about this shop. Gabrielle is everything a good tattoo artist should be. All my tattoos were custom designs, based off my ideas. I can be confusing, OCD, and indecisive. Never once, has this ever affected her professional demeanor, kindness, or patience with me. Genuinely a good person, genuinely cares, has incredible talent and is versatile. Also, produces stunning work fast! Which is good, since yes, tattoos hurt. I have darker skin, she's knowledge- produces vibrant colorful tattoos, not over working the skin, or making the tattoo too busy or unclear. I have brought my husband several times, and she has done two beautiful matching tattoos on us. Even though I've moved out of Michigan, I still make the trip to Babydoll’s. It's worth it. This place is so welcoming! I took my friend to get a $13 tattoo since today was the 30th. Sort of Ancy because when you get a $13 tattoo you really get $13 quality. Steve did a tremendous job!!!! Clean, friendly, all around a good experience. I went here for a fairly bigger tattoo, Steve hooked me up and smashed all my fears of what could go wrong, and did amazingly. The artists are fun and friendly, it's a good environment and its very clean. I will be coming back for anything else I want to get. Rudest shop EVER!  Client service is non-existent.  After I waited to be greeted, I soon figured that would not happen even after I heard the laughter from the back and said hello numerous times.  I then called the shop and when it was answered the lady, I use that term loosely, working seemed annoyed that it was me calling and stormed back to the back still without greeting me.  Do yourself a favor and DO NOT go there unless you enjoy being treated like crap. One of the worst in the business. First off they allow kids to run around the lobby, making noise. And on top of that the employees bring in their own kids on a daily basis and evene touch/play with the tattoo equipment, that is both unprofessional and unhygienic. And the customer satisfaction is laughable, unless what you want as a tattoo is what they FEEL like doing, good luck hearing from them again, do they try to get back to you, do they even get you to another employee who can do it? No they do not, now I see why tattoo artists come and go there so often, horrible managment and seedy customer service. I never seen a tattoo shop play favorites with customers. And to add insult to injury the employees themselves go about on their own pages how they only do tattoos they feel like without he courtesy of just telling upfront they can't or just dont' want to do their tattoo. I do not recommend this place at all, there are far better choices. Do research before going into any shop, and most importantly go into a tattoo shop that WON'T allow children in the building.
