One of the best shops in the area in my opinion. From walking in to walking out the experience was well worth the money and time. The shop has a very comfortable atmosphere and everyone is laid back and professional. The artists are willing to work with you and help set you in the right direction for whatever you may be looking to get done. I came in with my brother, looking to make an appt where we both could get done same day. We were able to talk to Scott and setup a day t...hat he could get us both done. He got our design ideas, made sure to take notes on anything we wanted or didn't want and said they'd be ready when we came back. The day finally arrived and I walked in anxious to see the design. He made some big changes, but I was blown away by the line work and detail that would be put into this tattoo. Told him I was so stoked and ready to go, he got setup and had me in the chair within 15 min. The whole time he was very relaxing, making sure I was doing ok, talking with me and cracking some jokes. Really just making the experience even smoother than I had anticipated. 3 hours later and I end up with this stunning piece of art on my arm, Scott nailed it straight outta the park. I'm real OCD about line work, as I surveyed every inch of the tattoo, I was even more excited to find no mistakes or crooked lines. One of the cleanest tattoos I've ever got. Wasn't a place that made you feel welcome or that they even cared if you walked in.... Customer service is the most important aspect of having a business & it all starts from the moment someone walks in. Someone recommended this place because I am looking to have my upper arm done. After leaving there this afternoon went to another place where I received more then a "Hi"! My daughter and I went in on a whim for a tat... She had one previous tattoo at another studio and had a horrible experience. I can not say enough about the staff here at Independent. We both got GREAT tattoos and a great experience. The shop was clean, the young lady that greeted us was super friendly, and the owner who gave us our matching tattoos did super work...
