I was looking for a place to get my brows done on the fly and found Elegant Brows after a quick google search. I called to make sure they take walk-ins and they do! I was in and out in 5-7 minutes. The woman was so fast and my brows look awesome! I wish I lived closer because I would come here every time! Plus, it was only $10!! What!! The only place I'll go to get my eyebrows done! I've had them waxed plenty of times but my skin is very sensitive and the wax causes me to break out. I decided to give threading a try, hoping for less irritation. These women were so friendly and reassuring when I let them know it was my first time getting my brows threaded. The pain was similar to that of waxing but the time it took was basically cut in half! They're very good at shaping your eyebrows to fit your face and offering advice for any questions/concerns you may have. I've gone back multiple times now. NEVER GO HERE! I booked a lash extension appointment online and payed for it, and arrived at the scheduled time and the woman said they don't do them anymore. Then proceeded to argue with me about refunding me my money i already payed online. Should have maybe taken down that option for online booking? I bought a groupon to get my eyebrows waxed at this place. Only $4!! This place was quite a drive for me but it was worth it. The two ladies working were so sweet and accommodating and the one that helped me suggested to get my eyebrows threaded since its better than waxing which I did not know. I gave it a shot, definitely more painful rotfl. Feels like sandpaper sort of rubbing your eyelids. Or maybe I'm just a baby, but anyway. She made me arches so perfect and clean! Left knowing that was a great groupon purchase and I'll be back again. Regular eyebrow waxing or threading costs $10. Love this place! I usually go to this one salon near Hall Rd but wanted to find a place that was closer to home and felt safer. Problem was it was hard to trust another place to thread my eyebrows. Elegant Brows was great though. They took me as a walk-in within their last hour before closing and sat me right away. The women were super nice and great at threading. i go like every 2 weeks and it's just fantastic every time. i first go in there crying because my eyebrows don't look good but then come out like my eyebrows are having a show of its own. Sharada is the best! I used to only wax but was sick of them looking different every time, they had no shape, and I was burnt on several occasions. I started going here a few years ago and haven't looked back. I finally have shaped brows that aren't too skinny. Read Less

Not only are they incredilby friendly and clean, but they also fixed my WAY over plucked brows over a few months time (they had to grow back in and I have stopped plucking my own brows). Got Brazilian wax done. It was very quick and easy. Granted all my hair was waxed off, however I was bruised in 3 different spots. Each spot was an inch long. My whole area is red and today is day 2. I get Brazilian all the time and never once was bruised or red like this. Staff was polite, however technique on waxing needs a lot of help. I will never go here again or recommend it! Unfortunately, an experience I will never forget!  Never tried threading before and have very sensitive skin.  I went in for a full facial and had a young gal who appeared to have just started working there.  When she saw I was red and started bleeding she immediately stopped and had Sharada finish the job.  Knowing I have sensitive skin I was "ok" with it and was told to put cold rags on my face.  When I checked out I used my Groupon (only reason I went there or even knew about them).  They convinced me to purchase a better deal than Groupon???........buy in advance 2 full face special & get 1 free.  So, of course, I made the purchase.  My face didn't agree with this procedure.  Had major swelling, redness, burning & hives for the next five days.  Needless to say I had no intentions of going back.  This all took place Sept. 2016 and we are now in June 2017.  I have placed numerous calls in the last 9 months for a refund and still have not received my money back.  Each time I've called I've been told  no problem, you will get a refund, the owner is out of the country and I'll have her call you!  They "accidentally" threw my original receipt away but fortunately I took a picture of it.  I understand my bad breakout was no fault of theirs; however, there business practice of taking care of the customer after the fact is totally unprofessional. She is awesome. When you get a brazilian wax she will get all the hair off. Some waxing salons wont go far enough down your leg or far enough up your stomach to get all the stray hairs. But she does and she doesnt charge you extra for that like other places do. Read Less

I received a Brazilian wax for the very first time. The woman who did it, unsure of her name, but I think she was the owner, she was incredibly professional and made me feel very comfortable. I was very pleased with my experience. For you first timers, it hurts, but it's only for a second and the outcome is worth it. She's very detailed, and also asks you to look in the mirror and insure all the hair you wanted removed it removed, and if it's not she'll fix it. I'd suggest this place, and I'll be back in a month! After leaving a 10 year "eyebrow lady" relationship , I was hesitant about trying somewhere new. My eyebrows are extremely important to me! These ladies are wonderful. I have had each one do my eyebrows at least once and have never left disappointed. They give you advice on what parts of your eyebrows to grow out and the one Woman I've stuck with remembers what parts she wanted me to grow out with out me even saying anything! I would give this place zero stars if I could. The first time I came here it was nice. Some sweet, petite lady did my eyebrows and despite a tiny patch she took out, I left mostly satisfied. My mom bought me two groupons that were advertised on their website. While cashing out, the cashier said "it's a good thing you got that groupon when you did because we have a deal where if you buy two you get the third free." Today I came for my second appointment. There was only one lady in the whole building which is bad for people who don't want to wait forever as it takes 15 minutes per person. The lady who did my brows today was the one who checked me out the first time. After telling her I wanted arch and as little taken off as possible, just a clean up, she not only made my eyebrows round and short, but she threaded away 70% of my eyebrows and told me to "grow them out". My first time there, I heard the lady telling her 2 prior clients the same thing after not respecting their requests. During checkout, I handed her my groupon and told her it was my second and asked how I get the 3rd free deal that she had informed me about last time. She said "no, that's not for groupons. That's only for in store purchases only." I said "that's definitely not what you told me last time but ok". I proceeded to hand her my groupon. She said "the groupon is only good for the first visit. You have to pay cash." ...what? I replied "I don't have cash I have this groupon that I bought from your company website that encouraged me to buy more than one for deals." She got mad and said "wow well you should have told me before." Why? I didn't know you'd change the guidelines randomly or I would've prepared instead of going all the way home to grab the groupon and come back here to this strange establishment. Luckily for her my mom was with me and stepped up to pay. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here for about a year now with no issues until I sent my two adult daughters here for eyebrow threading. The lady working on this day proceeding in telling my youngest daughter that she should let her eyebrows fill in thicker because she is too fat for thinner eyebrows. And, yes, she used the word fat. This lady then continued to tell my daughter that she should go on a diet so that she will be thinner and more beautiful like her sister. Needless to say my daughter came over very upset and hurt afterwards. I have since talked to the business and stated i would not be returning.  I guess business is booming and they dont need mine or my daughters business, because we will never darken their door again. Purchased a Groupon for an eyebrow threading. The annoying part was the directions on the Groupon. It states that you must book an appointment by sending an email to them. The email never goes through and no one ever picks up the phone, so just go in person. It is a very quick wait. She threads your eyebrows in less than 10 minutes. So I hate to write a good review for my hidden gem I found, but it the right thing. Threading is only $10 and they do a awesome job. I get my eyebrows tinted, only $20 and they look great, better than any other spas in the area that WAY overcharge. Won't name them, but I'm sure if you know shelby you know the ones.They speak broken English and they are sometimes hard to understand but they are extremely nice and professional, and very clean. They have punchcards as well, after so many threading you get a free one. I would like to try their facials and body wraps, also very fairly priced and maybe get a henna tattoo for the fall when I start belly dancing again. Highly recommended, walk inns are find but I have a feeling they will be getting very busy soon.One thing is, make sure to stick with the lady you like, I once went in and they made mine a little thin, she did not know me.
