Recently, I and a friend got our ears pierced and it was obnoxiously over priced. I paid $90 to have my double lobes pierced. Not only is it over priced but when it was time to get my ears pierced the piercer pierced my ears where I already had a hole (in my firsts) - it was a great inconvenience. After it was sorted through that I wanted a second lobe piercing he made marks where they would be and they were distanced oddly so I asked for one of them to be lowered. When it was all said and done the piercing was lowered quite a substantial amount. I am now stuck with uneven distances between my lobe piercings and am very unhappy with the results. Read Less

My wife and I walked in looking for a new tattoo artist, as we had just moved into town. We talked with Amanda, and set up an appointment for a new tattoo for me, and touch up work for my wife. This shop is my absolute favorite shop. Every experience there has been amazing. Spencer is a phenomenal piercer and all of my jewelry is stunning. Both tattoos I've received from Shelby were also the most beautiful tattoos, and were both hand designed by her. One of them being a cover up that I hated seeing every day, is not an amazing crow that I love having on my skin. Shelby was truly amazing after a night mare we had at another store Earlier that day. I called Vicious ink and Shelby answered my calls he made sure she answered all my questions she never made us feel bad about asking questions we came in and Shelby did me and my husbands son hand and feet print because he passed away it was a special tattoo she redone the drawing 3 times till we were happy and never complained one time about it. I am still getting emotional over how amazing my tattoos are. I had a watercolor quill by Brandie, which is delicate and beautiful and I stare at it all day every day. I more recently had a larger piece done on my side, a full color phoenix cover-up, by Aaron Broke, and it is AMAZING. I just wish I had it somewhere I could stare at it easier. My daughter and I had 2 smaller tattoos done at the 15 mile vicious...i had checked the place out earlier in the day and met the awesome Bre! She was really nice and we scheduled to come in later! I got bi-lateral daith piercings by Spencer at the Rochester location last Tuesday. He is amazing. He is meticulously hygienic, knowledgable and personable. Went in today for a nipple piercing, was nervous and not positive I wanted it. I talked with Randee for a bit, who was very knowledgeable and more than happy to answer a ton of questions I had, along with telling me other information too. Theres a lot of turnover in this shop, people come and go and I'm very disappointed thst they wouldn't release where my artist went. When I tried seeing if any of the current artists there had a similar style in tattooing, i had major attitude coming from shelby. She acted as though she was better then anyone else, and thought she was a hardass and really at that point i wanted to walk out. Hi, my names Chris, and I came in with a friend recently for his tattoo, and I was extremely put off upon immediate entry. My main concerns were of the professionalism of the "artists" and the overall look and cleanliness of this place. It reminds me of an alley way in some cheesy 80s grunge film. And is very fake feeling. Like they just want your business and are nice just for the money. The professionalism is false beyond compare from what I saw just from being in the lobby. If I remember correctly, I think his name was Jay? Junior..Or RJ? Something to that effect... But he was extremely vulgar and I recall him being on Google and printing things for his customer he was going to draw. For me, that's not what I would want in my artist. I would want the artists real work. And he also seemed pushy to do it his way. Another person there was Dave I believe. And he seemed real nice and professional and I enjoyed his work. I wouldn't mind a piece from him in the near future. If I had any recommendations, it would be to check out other places, but if you need one here, the most professional and talented would have to be Dave. Read Less

I have had 5 piercings and 4 tattoos done here! Sam uses the best jewelry has great prices and makes you super comfortable while doing your piercings! Kyle did two of my tattoos, wonderful lettering on my side, and super straight lines on my back. Josh did the other two tattoos, he put an awesome bow on my head and a master piece on my back (a dead tree with water coloring), he worked with me with all of my crazy ideas, pictures and suggestions and gave me exactly what I was looking for an original piece that fits me perfectly. Shelby is so helpful while filling out paperwork and picking out jewelry and helping with tattoo designs. I had some piercings redone here. I was very suspicious of the place, given that they were one of the places that advertise specials on tattoos and piercings. However, it was given the fact that it was a new parlor and they were looking to bring in business. And shortly before I went in to get work done, a friend of mine had tattoo work done there. He confirmed that they were indeed very professional, sterile, and talented artists. The proof was in the pudding; after he was fully healed, the work he had done at VI looked fantastic. This was the deciding factor in choosing VI as the place to get pierced again.The deal was something like 2 piercings for $50 including jewelry. I did shop around at a few places when I had other piercings (I knew not to go to XS when I was shopping around to get my labret done, but that's a whole other story) and they had the lowest prices by far.From what I hear, that's still the case. They're doing quality work at like, half the price of anywhere else. I'd stop in and look at their portfolio (though I wasn't tattooed there, their tat folio looks amazing) - you might even see a part of me in that photo book! Read Less
