3 separate same day cancels. I do not know how this is possible realistically. Every time I have a tattoo appointment (made up to 4 months in advance) - the tattoo artist cancels THE SAME DAY! I gave up trying to reschedule with Ryan. If he didn't want to tattoo me, he should not have made the appointment. I live in Michigan and in Texas. Since I made this most recent appointment 4 months ago, I changed my schedule around to be in Michigan. Work on professionalism and professional courtesy towards a repeat customer. Read Less

Barb Jones is amazing! She just did my first session of my first piece and it's better than I could have imagined. I can't believe I never reviewed this place!! I had my very first tattoo done by the incredibly talented Aura Dalian here at North Main, and my only regrets is I wish I had done it sooner. She does absolutely beautiful work. In fact, everyone here has beautiful work. Every single artist here is truly that, an artist! They regularly have their own personal art hanging on the walls of the building. Every few months, they also have gallery events for new art shows they're hosting! The interior is super clean. The girl running the desk is very nice and efficient, and setting appointments is easy-peasy. They're very welcoming, especially to someone who had never walked into a tattoo shop before and wasn't just getting a tiny black and white piece. I have been tattooed by both owners now and not only are they amazing at what they do, they are kind human beings. I've had a couple pieces done by Ryan and he's great the shop is very cool and it looks like everyone there is a true tattoo artist not just someone who can color inside the lines.   I wouldn't hesitate to make another appointment and get more work done here. Read Less

I had my largest and most meaningful piece done yet by the talented Aaron Ruby. Not only did he make the tattoo idea come to life, his tattooing application, technical skills and details are out of this world. This studio is by far not the cheapest, but when it comes to permanent body art, you must invest in the best quality and artist you trust. Aaron is also a very nice person and makes you feel comfortable in the chair. I started my sleeves in L.A. and moved back to the Detroit area before they were finished. Aaron Ruby was able to continue my sleeves and improve the work I had already started. The work he did is WAY better than anything I had done in Los Angeles or Ann Arbor. Aaron was patient and listened while I showed him all my inspiration pics. He was great at communicating what would look good and working with me to assure I got the tattoo I wanted.
