While a beautiful environment filled with gorgeous works of art, and a hygienic setting, I can not recommend this shop. Conversations with the artist can border inappropriate easily. I ESPECIALLY recommend females to take caution around this artist, avoiding entirely. As a side venture, he represents Rebel Muse Photography and I never received an edited or unedited photo that came from the time I had with him. Agreements verbally mean nothing to this artist. When confronted, he can present hostile. I came to the artist with a design in mind, and sketched it out. He was able to translate that onto paper, and told me his ideas for it. Unfortunately, when coming out of the chair, my character who was supposed to not have colour is now orange in the face and my purple/gold border we discussed is solid blue instead. I tried to discuss the random orange line that he had made across her chest as well, but was told it was shading (even though it made no sense with the piece itself). I spent probably $1,200 on this piece. I would not return to this artist for another.Side note, as the artist has said on his bio he believes negative reviews are from ex employees and competitors. I can assure you this is false. Unfortunately, however, many artists have been a part of Tattoo Nouveau and have parted ways due to the main artist's conflicts.

Stay away from this shop! Way over priced and will set up an appointment but will only tattoo half the time and still charge full price. He is very heavy handed and will tear you up. Each time I went back, it just got worse and worse. He literally will cut you while tattooing. Looked like I got sliced up all over. Great artist but not good with tattooing. Everything I have done by him is scaring up and will have to have touched up by someone else. Takes breaks all the time, changes his music, lights indents more then he tattoos. STAY AWAY!

First off, I'm not sure where these bogus accusations of David (the owner) are coming from. David is incredibly nice and one of the most talented artists I've ever come across. We just completed my sternum tattoo about a week ago and not once did I feel uncomfortable around him. The music and incense help Immensely when you're being tattooed in an extremely sensitive area. He was extremely kind and patient during the whole process! NOT once did I ever feel weird in that space. I would recommend this place to all my friends as it is truly a place of art and commitment. I am extremely happy with my tattoo and the dedication David put into it! You pay for time, art, and commitment from the artist. I think a lot of people don't understand the time that it takes to create a great tattoo. These people do this for a living and are awesome at it, supporting them and paying them what they deserve is all part of the process

The owner is the absolute worst. Came in to get two tattoos finished that were started by a different artist who couldn't tattoo anymore. He quoted me with one price for both of my tattoos. I'm sitting there waiting to get tattooed while he lights incense, changes the music, talk to the other artist and being slow overall. He took a bunch of breaks, and then the second my boyfriend left to get me a snack he tells me that he can't finish it in the initial time frame he gave me and that I would have to have a second session. Doubling the price he gave me! He kept trying to talk to me about sex and his open relationship he has with his girlfriend and overall gave me terrible vibes. Honestly it's a shame. The shop is beautiful, and all the other artist I've met there are extremely talented. If you're a young girl stay away. Nothing but creepiness there.

I also had to call multiple times to get anyone to answer the phone. Only reason why I came here in the first place was because I used to get my piercings done here but now shes gone.

I LOVE the store and the staff is the best, they're true artists and take the time to research exactly what you want on top of the provided reference pictures. Rob did my dad's tattoo of the head of a bass guitar and really nailed it. The realism of it and the design looks phenomenal. I got a Zelda tattoo of three pixelated hearts and Rob made the lines so perfect and straight. Even though it was an easy tattoo, it was also easy to mess up but it turned out amazing. I can't speak on any other artists behalf since I haven't had a tattoo by them but they're all friendly and by looking at their portfolios I can tell they know what they're doing. I would recommend Tattoo Nouveau for any type of tattoo.

I gave my wife a tattoo for her birthday in November. Within a couple weeks after the tattoo began to fade, talking color, lines, everything. Was in communication with the artist and she was wonderful to express the need to have the tattoo heal and then she would be happy to take a look and provide recommended next steps. When we made it in today to have them take a look, the very first question was to question the customer and the application of product and process. We were told the tattoo needed to be touched up and they only do touch ups on Thursday & Sunday. Great customer service, they performed the tattoo yet the customer has to work around their schedule??? Stay clear of this place people or you might end up being asked to leave with piece of &#!+ tattoo!

I made an appointment on Saturday to get a tattoo on Thursday at 1:30. The tattoo artist informed me that the $50 was refundable, so I left one. On Tuesday I decided that I didn't want the tattoo. I tried going there at about 7:30 Pm and they were closed, so on Wednesday I went there at 12 and they were closed again. I tried calling at 12:14 and leaving a voicemail that I wanted to cancel my appointment and their voicemail was full. I could not find an email to send my cancelation to, so I sent them a Facebook message. I called on Thursday at 11:50 (they open at 12), and the owner said that I could not have my deposit back and that his artist would never tell me that it was refundable. He informed me that I was "mental" and that he didn't want to hear my problems and handled this very unprofessionally. I guess I should have known better when the female at the front counter sat there with her shirt completely unbuttoned and her bra hanging out that they are not professionals.

David really cares about everyone who walks in his door, and will do all he can to give you the best work he is capable of. The quality of work is miles above every other shop I have been into.

He will even suggest new concepts, making sure you get the best tattoo possible. I have two large pieces from him and all I get are compliments left and right. This place is awesome! I have nothing but good things to say. David (The Gentleman that owns the shop) was very helpful in helping me with coming up with a design for my tattoo and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before we stated. The final product was amazing and I get compliments on it all the time. I plan on going here for future work (This is the start of a whole sleeve) and I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a great artist and someone who will bring your vision to life.

First off, I'm not sure where these bogus accusations of David (the owner) are coming from. David is incredibly nice and one of the most talented artists I've ever come across. The owner is the absolute worst. Came in to get two tattoos finished that were started by a different artist who couldn't tattoo anymore. He quoted me with one price for both of my tattoos. I LOVE the store and the staff is the best, they're true artists and take the time to research exactly what you want on top of the provided reference pictures. David really cares about everyone who walks in his door, and will do all he can to give you the best work he is capable of. The quality of work is miles above every other shop I have been into.

David (The Gentleman that owns the shop) was very helpful in helping me with coming up with a design for my tattoo and made sure it was exactly what I wanted before we stated. The final product was amazing and I get compliments on it all the time. I plan on going here for future work (This is the start of a whole sleeve) and I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a great artist and someone who will bring your vision to life.
