I came here to get my nose pierced and the guy working made me feel confident in his knowledge and experience, which put me at ease. After he was done piercing my nostril he pierced my husband's ears, but he was still paying enough attention to me to notice that I looked like I might faint. I had just been about to let him know how I was feeling when he asked me, and then he was quick to get me lying down and provide me with a cool towel for my forehead with instructions not to rush and sit up before I was ready (my body always freaks out like this with piercings. Ugh). Overall, my husband and I walked out of there very happy with our experience and the reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone else looking to get body/facial piercings. Wouldn't suggest piercings from here, at least nipples. Both of mine are uneven and one goes through my areola. Decided after a couple months they just looked too bad, bothered me too much and might not ever heal properly with one going through my areola. I'm going to take them out. Went here 4 years ago they were really nice and got me in for my tattoo quickly. Don't remember who did my tattoo but it was the most painful tattoo I have ever had done... no it wasn't my first or my last.... the colors are really faded I have older tattoos that look better and more vibrant. The 'Chief' does beautiful work, however it takes months to get on his schedule. Then cancels 5 min after the appointment started. The receptionis said he 'has a lot going on right now'. I walked in without an appointment, not even sure of what I wanted to get. I recently moved to Muskegon, and so I went out on a limb trusting yelp to help me find the best shop in town. I had to wait a few minutes in the lobby, which gave me time to plan and devise a quick sketch. The artist who worked on my tattoo was named Ray.  I had a very detailed tattoo in mind, and on such short noticed, I expected to walk away with maybe an appointment and a game plan. Nope! He listened to all my ideas and made me feel comfortable immediately. We created the final image right then, and moved to the table. He busted the tattoo out in a short time, and with a steady hand. I was referred here by a friend. Had an appointment scheduled for 9 AM. Booked the appt with the artist and paid the deposit. I showed up at 9, at 915 one of the other employees finally called the artist who hadn't arrived yet. The artist then said the appt was at 9PM. It was written in their books in the morning and on a card I left at home. They told me I was wrong and they would not refund my deposit without the appt card. It was poor customer service and I was shocked that this is how they run the business. Read Less
