Nestled on the corner of Garfield in a little Liquor Store Plaza is this little Black & Yellow painted shop! I guess this is the second B'z shop so you know that means good things! Well my 13th tattoo was a success! Got my bum tatted by Jessica Beth, professional & talented! Not gonna lie, I followed her from her last shop... :) BUT I LIKE THIS SHOP SO MUCH BETTER! It is cleaner, less cluttered, the certificates are clearly marked on the wall-which to me screams "Professional", and there is Taxidermy all over the place! Apparently they trade Taxidermy for tattoos! The owner Brian is really into it and it shows! Jessica is amazing! Her work is amazing as well as her and she takes her time and does not rush you. She works with you and loves to come up with her own designs too if asked. She listens and does exactly what you asked. She works with you the entire way and is there whenever needed even if it's a quick question. After the tattoo shop I originally went to closed, I knew immediately that I wanted to get my next tattoos here. I had known about JJ's work for about a year prior to going and was amazed by his work. I have gotten a few tattoos from him and plan on getting more done in the future by him. The shop is also very clean. Each artist has their own closed off area, which is nice, and the staff is very friendly and professional. I got my sleeve started by JJ because one of my friends has been going to him go years. He does AMAZING work, I moved to southern Florida about 6 month ago and really want to get more work done on it but I won't let anyone else touch it. I will be flying back to Macomb to have JJ finish. He is really laid back and makes you very comfortable, and does awesome art work. I get compliments seriously everywhere I go also. Side note: Anyone that thinks you can just walk into a tattoo place and get work done is sadly mistaken ( if you want a good tattoo done anyway). You have to make an appointment for sure with JJ, but that is because he is the best. You shouldn't want someone to tattoo you who is free for walk ins...in my opinion. I could be totally off base with that, but that is just my experience. Any tattoo I've gotten at other places as a walk in was not great. Adam is the owner I think? And I hear he is awesome too. My sister and I were excited about getting matching tattoos, we called and asked if they were accepting walkins and if they had any available times. They said they did and to come by. Later that same day we walked in and they told us they were booked and it's better to schedule than walkin. They said the shop wasn't accepting any more appointments or walkins that day--even though the shop seemed empty. We then proceeded to schedule an appointment for later in the week and gave a $20 deposit. When it came time for the appointment the shop was locked with its lights on, 2 hours before closing hours. They also neglected to answer any calls or return voicemails. If I could give zero stars I would. Waste of time and money. Read Less

I had my first tattoo done here back in January, it was done by Adam Nagy I was very pleased with it! I definitely plan on returning to have more tattoo's done! I was very pleased by how clean the work area's were and how nice every seemed to be. Felt very comfortable and easy to talk to Adam and it sounded like the other guys are the same way, there was a couple of other people also getting tattoo's done and having conversations with Brian and JJ. I have been to many shops before, and once I found B'z, I knew I found something special. I became a repeat customer at their Troy Location, and once I heard they had this second location, I knew I had to check it out! The shop is extremely clean, prices are affordable, and the artists are friendly and not at all intimidating or rude like some shops I've come across. Each artist has their own room, which is a must for me. So far, I've only been tattooed by JJ. He practically read my mind on my tattoo idea, was very thorough, kept me up to date on the drawing process, definitely listened to my ideas and threw in a few of his own, and did a phenomenal job. It was a big piece, so we broke it into sessions, and every time I came in, it felt very professional and welcoming. They also offer an affordable organic tattoo removal (non-laser), which I plan to take advantage of for a couple tattoos I had gotten when I was younger and unfortunately didn't do any research of reputable shops. I also recently learned that the artist Brian, also does tattoo makeup, which I am extremely ecstatic to eventually get done! Highly recommend anyone at this location, as all their portfolios are impressive! Super comfortable atmosphere, and never felt unwelcome or like I had a stupid question. I will be returning! I had the pleasure of getting my latest tattoo done here by Adam Nagy and I am very happy when it came to the work done, cleanliness of the shop and the overall experience as a whole. The place is pretty easy to find and looks much more professional then some others I have been in. Everyone on the staff who I have interacted with seem real nice and easy to talk to. I was thoroughly impressed when I overheard another artist named Garrett walking a female client through the process of getting her navel pierced. He had a calming tone to his voice and explained everything he was doing in great detail in order to put her at ease. You could tell he cared about his client and wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. Some of the issues I have had in the past at other places are that the artists have a superiority complex and do not want to take any of the clients ideas in to consideration. At B'z though Adam was super cool about collaborating my design ideas to come up with the best concept. Tattoos are forever and you want to make sure you get something you are 100% happy with, so it was nice that we were able to bounce ideas off of each other in order to receive the best end result as possible.I offered myself up to be a Guinea Pig after we were done for a new process when it comes to aftercare they are trying. Normally they will wrap the tattoo in plastic wrap and then you are to clean and apply lotion to it multiple times over the next few days. The owner had actually just picked up this stuff called Fixomull tape early that evening and was told that after you wrap the tattoo with it there is no other aftercare needed. They use this in burn units of hospitals on patients when it comes to healing their wounds as it is breathable and allows for their skin to heal much faster. After three days all I had to do was simply remove the wrap and voila, it's all healed with no maintenance or flaking. The nice thing about the stuff other then the fact there its no fuss no muss concept is that it is completely waterproof and also prevents the UV rays from the sun harming your tattoo while it heals. The downfall was it was a bitch to get off even after applying a warm compress to it to help loosen it up. Also it traps all of the goo that you get from a fresh tattoo which makes it look all smeared and after it dries it gets crunchy like the unwashed hair of a vegan hipster doofus.The crunchiness got so bad that it was starting to come off at the edges and I ended up removing it about a day before I was supposed to. Because of this I have experienced some peeling which I am fine with. I think if they decide to go this route they should supply the customer with a second set of wraps so after a day and a half they can remove the first ones, clean the area and apply a fresh set. No harm, no foul though. It was a learning experience for all parties involved and if they can tweak things slightly to provide a better outcome it will only make this shop that much better. Read Less
