My friend got her belly button pierced here, and I honestly found the service to be horrible. The person who pierced her belly button, in my and my friends opinion was rude. The piercing looks to be a little crooked. And my friend later had stomach problems and it later on got infected. Yes she was cleaning it and taking care of it. A year after she got the piercing the hole closed up and my friend had to re-pierce it herself. Again this is just my opinion. Read Less

I won't even give this a one!! Because the piercer is never there and the employees are liars and tell you that you can get a piercing when you cannot!!! I do not recommend going there unless if you want to get lied to.. if you want a good place to get a piercing go to South pointe ink!!! i went in a few weeks back got what should have been a nice grey scale first everybody there was nice i ask for the guy tommy that has a lot of great reviews but ended up with a guy named ace super nice guy and very light handed but the work was not that good the Lines are Not Clean and shading is well we wont go there maybe i should have read the yelp review so now i got to have it fixed Read Less

Called to see there hours on a Monday to get a nose piercing. They said they opened at 12. Mind you, I made a 45 minute commute to this worthless tattoo shop. We go up to the door, and they closed. At this point it was 12:20. The worker outside said the manager wasn't there yet and that the piercer wasn't going to come in until 2. He was rude and unprofessional. If you say you open at 12, open at 12. Never will I go back. They lost business, as I went to an awesome tattoo shop who was helpful and professional. Read Less

I went in with an idea for a smaller tattoo and he showed me this huge thing that I did not want. What I wanted was "too small" for him apparently. I should have just walked away then and there. Tattoo ended up looking like shit and some places are super scarred where other places the ink didn't even stick. I had him stop before it was even finished because he was hurting me so bad. Truly can't express how much I regret going to this place. I went to get a tattoo done and he said he was going to freehand it instead of printing it and placing it on me, and he did it backwards. Even when I went in to fix it (which I redesigned) he messed it up again. He only re-lined half of it, he didn't fill it in all the way, and I literally heard him say the word "oops" while he was holding the needle. I love my tattoo but it looks so awful now that I will probably get it removed if I can't find a different artist to fix it. I got my first tattoo here in 2013 by a guest artist. The guest artist acted annoyed that he had to do my tattoo. It wasn't a very good experience for my first tattoo. I was told that it might fade but I didn't think it would fade that much. A couple months after getting it done, the whole middle was faded. I later had to get it touched up at a different tattoo shop and it's been over a year since I've had it touched up and it hasn't faded at all. I'm not sure if the tattoo artist did something wrong but I thought it was weird that it faded. It might not be a bad shop but I didn't have a good experience. Read Less

Diane did my lip piercing and she was great at telling me the aftercare and keeping me calm (i'm afraid of needles.) and laughing with me as I got it done and afterword! The place was very clean, everyone there was friendly, and I watched her open up everything out of sterile packaging! (Many thumbs up!) I have had a few artists do my tattoos. I have 9 tattoos. I would have to say that I have been to New Addiction twice (the last two times) and that's where I will continue to go as long as Tommy is there. He does phenomenal work and takes the time to make sure details are done correctly. I think he/they take pride in their work and thats hard to come by nowadays! I wanted to get my third tattoo of the great lakes around the kalamazoo area and I went to check out body armor tattoos but when I got there it just looked sketchy so I decided to try somewhere else. I called new addictions and they were very accomodating. The owner was there and she was very personable and informative. She actually told another costumer that the procedure they wanted to get was very risky and she advised against it. I had an apprentice named Hilary do my tattoo and she did a great job. I would let her do another tattoo for me in a heartbeat. The overall experience was great. Great price. Great personality. Great tattoo. I would recommend to any of my friends. Read Less

Hated this place. I pierced my cartilage here thinking that I didn't want to drive to Body Armor, instead I would just walk across the street from campus and get this done. Everyone working in there was super obnoxious and childish. They were yelling jokes across the room. The woman who pierced my cartilage wasn't very personable. She just seemed like she wanted to get my piercing done and get back to being paid for doing nothing. I had to remind her to give me a care sheet for my new piercing. Very unprofessional.
