I went to get my first tattoo last Sunday at Assassin Tattoo Studio. I was initially very nervous and scared that my design wouldn't come out the way I wanted it to. However, the staff there was very helpful and kind. The staff reassured me that the tattoo artist doing my tattoo has done many scripts before and was confident in himself to take on this piece given his 10 years of experience. Ron, the tattoo artist, was able to work with my design and come out with the size I wanted. Ron was able to answer all of my questions as well. While getting the tattoo he was humorous and encouraging, given this was my first tattoo. Ron was also very helpful on how to position my body and how to prevent mistakes by doing certain stretches while he was working. Overall the tattoo came out great. I only had a few issues while I was at the shop. One was that Ron was very distracted. He had a friend/ customer that wanted a tattoo done but he didn't talk to the other staff member that was there he talked to Ron, while he was doing my tattoo and was distracting him by having conversations that would have Ron turn and pause the process of the tattoo. Ron also abruptly left during the process of my tattoo to go talk to this friend/ customer and didn't return for roughly ten minutes after exiting the establishment. Another issue was his language. I wasn't offended by his language but I feel there could become a possibility of a future customer that would be. I believe this was just Ron's way of speaking and dialogue patterns, but I didn't feel using the "N" word around customers was appropriate in a workplace, tattoo shop or not. Other than those two things the shop was overall average. The tattoo came out the way I wanted to and I didn't run into any problems. The shop also made efforts to show me the expiration date on the needle which was nice. The price of my tattoo was very reasonable for the size and the quality of the art. All in all, would go again especially for my touch up. Thanks Rob Read Less
