A few friends and I did a walk in session the other day. It was my first tattoo and it was a great experience! They accommodated us even though it was on short notice. The artist (we had Dedrick) was super receptive and made sure the design was perfect for me. I didn't have a reference picture so I was really impressed. He was quick and made me feel really comfortable even though I was nervous. The other staff was also very helpful and fun to be around. Overall, I would recommend this place. Went in with my friend to get her tattto touched up, wonderful people. Found myself in there again to get my rook piercing changed from a hoop to a bar. I got it pierced about 1 1/2 weeks ago from a different place and they put in the wrong jewelry which was causing a lot of pain. They helped me change it out quickly and for a good price. I would not suggest going here! Not very clean, and super unprofessional! I got a tattoo from a guy there. Can't remember his name. I don't think he ever told me it in fact! Big African-American Bald guy! I got a tattoo from him. I wasn't pleased but lied and said I was when I left. Only to notice I had a Hidden penis in my tattoo! While I was there. I was Very uncomfortable. The guy tattooing me was flirting and tried to make a pass on me! My tattoo was on my upper thigh and he kept "accidentally" putting his hand too close to my lady bits! I have suffered from migraines for years and recently learned that daith piercings can help alleviate them. I spoke with Andre on the phone and he informed me many people had seen instant results. People there were very nice but I don't think they really know what they are doing when it comes to piercings. Don't remember the guys name who did it but before he pierced me, he kept telling me over and over that it was going to be quick painless and easy. (I knew it wasn't going to be painless because no piercing really is) but it took him a good 5-7 minutes just to get the piercing in! Granted it was in a difficult spot (tongue webbing) Once he finally got it in, I looked down and the needle he used to pierce me with was laying down next to me on the chair... Anyways so I left the store and not even 20 minutes later the ball fell off to the end of the piercing.. so I had to drive all the way back up there for him to put it back on. I recently went to get two tattoos, and these guys were amazing! The shop was clean, and the atmosphere was perfect. Dedrick did a great job. I had recently gotten my septum pierced here, only to realize the next day that it was pierced in the completely wrong area. I researched quite a bit online because I was concerned about the pain I was having. I felt as if my nose had been kicked upwards or even broken. I knew this wasn't right so after three days of not even being able to smile I went to a different tattoo shop where I found out that they pierced it way too far back in a thick spot where the jewelry definitely should not be. It was almost impossible to even flip it down. I had to pay to have it removed and the pain was excruciating. I would not suggest getting a septum piercing here, or any at all actually. On top of this unfortunate situation, I was informed by the second tattoo shop that a paper informing you of proper after care is ALWAYS supposed to go home with you after you get a piercing. American pride tattoos did not send me home with one of these and barely explained how to clean and take care of the piercing. I am not usually one to write a review, but I thought it was more than necessary due to the unprofessional and unfortunate situation that I endured. Read Less
