It has horrible customers service. A lot of tattoo artists wouldn't recommend going here cause it was a complete rip off they told me they had to draw numerial numbers when they just had to print it. At first the price was 60 for each tattoo. Then when I called to see how much for sure so I could get cash it was 80 to 100 each. Went to screaming needles they told me 50 each which this is where I always go. So I went to 616 tattoo to get my money I had give him 50 deposit never told me would keep it if I didn't want the tattoo. Then showed me it was nothing what I want it was ugly and stupid I want my money back so cussed me out and called the police on me after that 4 customers walked out the door unhappy about his service and went else where. A friend and I were in town for a concert, and not being from/knowing the area, I did some research on-line for a tattoo studio. I had originally decided on a different studio but it was booked solid for the day I needed (thank whatever god you pray too!). Dave however, was available, and I couldn't be happier that he was the one to tattoo me! My entire experience with him was more than I could hope for!!!! Thank you so much for the amazing work (which I know wasn't much of a test for your creative ability lol) but was done so cleanly and beautifully!!!! I am a 58-year old woman that came in with my daughter for matching tattoos. This was my second one in 20 years. Dave took such care and time to make certain that everything was perfect for our difficult design. He even subdued the music just a bit so I wasn't blasted out of my chair with a lot of heavy metal. Went there for a quote... door closed with a sign saying they "stepped out" and would be back shortly... I assume the 2 heavily tatted men I passed while parking were them. Clearly the only bad reviews here are people who are uneducated and can't even use the spell check on their computer. I went to this shop after driving around Grand Rapids with my friends trying to find a decent place for a walk in. We finally arrived at this shop and the guys were all so eager to help. Their prices are excellent and reasonable. I have four tattoos total, one being from them and I will definitely return to this shop. I am very picky about professional positions and acting professional and these guys definitely are. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or annoyed. I completely recommend this shop. Read Less

These guys know so much about what they do and they know some pretty renowned people in the industry. While I was there, Freehand Robert was visiting and he taught the owner how to tattoo! He drew this tattoo on a girl in there so quickly with sharpies and tattooed over it and it was the most beautiful tattoo I have ever seen. The guys in the shop put out some pretty awesome stuff! The guys working there are super talented and you have a variety of options and styles with the guest artists they have in their too! I saw a tattoo they did on a guy in front of me and that helped me make up my mind about getting tattooed there, NOT ON A BET!, they screwed the guys tattoo up so bad that the owner said he would give the guy a great deal on his next one, I dont think he'll be bake either.
