I've been to Kitten Flower multiple times now. I love their jewelry options and my body has never reacted negatively to the materials. In the past, I had been shamed by the owner of Kitten Flower for the jewelry I had been wearing already when I went in for a change. Once, I was even wearing jewelry bought AT Kitten Flower when I was told it was "low quality" and "bad" for me. Imagine their face when I told them I had purchased the jewelry from Kitten Flower... but I digress... During my most recent visit, I had gone in to get a second lobe piercing as well as have my forward helix looked at to see if it was healed to be changed. Pat assisted me during this visit. Pat is AWESOME. Not only is the placement of my second lobes perfect, but he also advised I wait a few weeks before having my forward helix upgraded to allow the new piercings to heal. Great advice! Although Kitten Flower is a little pricey, you will definitely receive the quality that you pay for. Their jewelry is implant grade titanium (which is rare to find) and they have the most thorough and knowledgeable staff. You will not find better anywhere. I got my navel pierced there in January of 2017 and I could not be more happy with it. I followed the aftercare to the letter (essential) and the piercing healed perfectly with no irritation, much less infection. I just got my nipples pierced there last week and it was another flawless experience. My piercer, Pat, was very kind and he did an amazing job putting me at ease. Counter staff is slow and, as pointed out elsewhere, condescending. Which is a riot for me because the young woman who I usually find there doesn't know how to pronounce the names of certain piercings.My first visit I had an itinerant piercer, name forgotten, who did not tell me that fact until after he had put in three new barbells. The septum was done crookedly, and the two venoms were not lined up with each other. The barbells inserted in those were neither long enough nor matched with correctly sized balls, so they were pulled into the fistulas on my second night, eventually migrating out the bottom of my tongue and I had to pull both out the last few mms after spending days fairly unable to speak or eat.My second visit was with the regular weekday piercer, who reeks of cigarette smoke, something that is absolutely disgusting in 2018. I asked him to match an ear cartilage piercing that I had on one side. He could not have cared less to line up the new one properly, just blathered away about the 'name' of the placement, and punched it through on his terms, so now the two have different angles both in relation to a front view and where they come out in the back of the ear.When I've asked for below the waist piercings he has refused to do them and I was told that they're only done on Saturdays by Zach. Such a disappointing place. Also really bad air quality, as in zero circulation and the 'luxurious' lounge as someone called it, is full of dust and rather unpleasant as they tend to play cartoons on the telly. Went in to get my nostril re-pierced. The first time I got it done with years ago (different business), and the piercing site ended up getting infected. Came to Kitten Flower via recommendation. Walked in the door, and said I wanted to get my nostril pierced. "Ok, here's your options." The first time, I never had the option to choose my own jewelry. The front counter guy (sorry don't remember the name) was really great answering my questions, and letting me know what's going to fit into my price range. I felt extremely comfortable asking questions about aftercare. Everyone was really nice. Actually getting the piercing did hurt a little, but that's expected, right? From start to finish, my experience was superb. I did have a little "sticker shock," but you definitely get what you pay for. I feel like I got a quality piece of jewelry, and I can always come back for a re-check, a question, swapping out jewelry etc. I recommend Kitten Flower to everyone and anyone looking for a quality piercing. Small little shop upstairs.They have an okay selection of plugs, tunnels, studs, and bars.I was not blown away by a staggering amount of choices, but in this day and age of the online shopping days, that's not a huge surprise.There was only one girl working the counter and we stood and waited for help for a good 20+ minutes while she helped someone else.  That's a LONG time to just stand in a small 30x40 room trying to pretend like you're not just standing there...waiting.After the wait, she was helpful enough trying to offer suggestions and sizing options.  The main piercing guy came up after we asked to have someone check the gauge of my girlfriend's ears.  He did, suggested some plugs, which she got, and then we waited another 20 minutes for him to check the bar length of her medusa piercing.To check her ear gauge, find a new plug, check the length of her Medusa bar, and to swap out the stud in it, it took about an hour and some change.It would have been nice if there was another person working the counter, and/or if there was another piercer who could have helped out.I don't have any experience in shops like this but if they're all like this I'd be surprised.Everyone was clean and professional, just not in any real position to help us out in a timely fashioon. I went here to get a helix piercing after a recommendation from a friend. In all, everything was the standard level of clean and professional but more expensive and pretentious. My piercer spent about 15 minutes explaining to me why he is such a good piercer (all while i was laying on the table waiting for him to just get it over with because he already had the needle in his hand). I don't usually get nervous around needles but by the time he finally did the piercing the anxiety had built quite a bit. It just seemed a little off because he had been telling me how good he was at controlling the room and comforting his clients. He ended up being very clumsy putting in the earring and it ended up hurting significantly more than the other helix piercing I had before. Took my 6 year old for her first ear piercing. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly and treated her like an adult, addressed her directly. So many earring choices, all very high quality. They had a kids movie playing while we waited. Two men who did the piercing were friendly, funny and very sweet with her. honestly the best piercing place in town. I've gone there for 4 out of my 6 piercings, and they all have healed like a dream with not a single issue. :-) the workers are very friendly, professional, and well-educated. it's the only place I recommend to anyone!unfortunately I did buy a very high quality opal belly ring there, but after a year it stopped screwing in tightly, so the top fell off and I lost it.. that is my only complaint tho, and it was probably something out of anyone's control. My daughter (6 yrs.) had been asking to get her ears pierced so I found this place, and I also wanted to get my second holes done along with her. We were greeted by Ashley at the counter, who was very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. The selection of jewelry is awesome and every piece is gorgeous. I went here on the 1st of May while in the area for a septum piercing. I felt that their staff was friendly, and that their studio was clean and nice.Their piercer (I believe Justin) was working that day. He brought me and my friend back, and he talked about how there is "no sweet spot" for piercing septums (when there IS) and said/did a good few things that showed inexperience. I overlooked this, feeling he would probably still do well.I ended up with a septum piercing in the back cartilage of my nose, giving me very bad healing pain and chronic sinus migraines to this day, and I had to have it removed and let it heal a month before being re-pierced elsewhere. It was a large circular barbell, and you couldn't even see the balls on the ends because of how deep back it was. I don't know how their other piercings are, but I personally wouldn't go to Justin for a septum. He doesn't seem too knowledgeable on them.They DID offer to re-pierce (still in the cartilage though, so it still wouldn't have shown) and upgrade my jewelry, but we weren't in town anymore and I wasn't gonna let him touch my nose again. So I got a half refund, which was nice. But if you want a septum done right the first time, go elsewhere. Read Less

My friend has had multiple piercings done here, so that's how I first heard about these guys. I walked in shortly before close tonight to get my navel checked to see if it was piercable, and Justin and Ashley were super nice and accommodating. I told them I would be willing to come back a different day, but they stayed late to do my piercing! They were extremely thorough when explaining what activities I would need to avoid and how to take care of my piercing. They definitely took the time to cover all of their bases, so I knew exactly what I was getting into. I have about 6/9 piercings from kitten flower--the work to make sure your piercing is artfully placed and that you're getting exactly what you want. My piercings always heal beautifully--but if they didn't, the staff checks in on them for free. I go to these guys for everything, and I never regret it. Went there earlier today to try to get re-pierced before heading to the beaches of Puerto Rico. Justin was at the counter, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I happened to mention that I was going to be on vacation in a couple of weeks. He refused to pierce me, explaining that the swimming especially in salt water would make the new piercings have very high risk of complications of healing and infection. He explained the whole healing process and why it was a bad idea. This honesty earns an extra thumbs up from me-he was more interested in a good outcome than the cash. The piercing is about 15 months old, so very well healed.The lady who was working helped my dude pick out just the right jewelry and then Justin installed it.
