****pics in comments*****Edit*** it wasn't chris that messed up my tattoo it was a guy named joe and I apologise for getting the names mixed up.****** new edit they have aggreed to fix the tattoo any time i come back to the area for no charge so that is really awesome however im still not happy with the tattoo now so I'll leave it at 4 stars. Maybe not even dissapointed in just the tattoo but in the fact that the artist could have done so much better and we both knew he could have. I asked for a moutain sunset type of deal on my hand, which I had agreed with the other artist (presumably the owner ) that it may be to much. Then Joe takes over and he decides it'll work and honestly I liked the idea enough to go through with it. He had completed a sharpie sketch on my hand and it looked rough, so I asked him if it's gonna look like that when it's done. His response was seriously, 'Naw, man I'm gonna make this look bad ass' I was incredibly hesitant. I knew if he followed the sketch he sharpied on my hand it would look terrible however I let him talk me into it. He kept saying I've been doing this for x amount if years and blah blah. So we agreed on a price the owner and I. Which I honestly believe was way to high. 230. I didn't argue however because I wanted to pay for quality and quality is what I honestly thought I was gonna get. So joe begins on the tattoo and im not really looking and just kinda ignoring the process, only glancing down every now and again. I notice he is following the sketch 100% he isn't making it look good... it looks terrible. And it's right on my hand and it's very permanent. He told me that he put a few blood lines on the tat that will go away after some time. Well it's been three weeks and it still looks like a prison junkie did my tattoo. Now im not bashing joe entirely he has an inatagram portfolio in which he has shown off some awesome work. So I know he is a good artist. My hand however he has destroyed it. Thanks Joe. My daughter and I went to get tattoos. My artist named Chris was amazing. He took his time and made sure my daughter was comfortable being it was her first tattoo. The tattoos came out great. Lines were very crisp. Coloring was to perfection. It was a better experience than I had imagined it would be. I would recommend him to anyone. Read Less

I had my half sleeve done by the owner Steve. 1st off, this isnt my 1st tat at all, had 7 before I walked in the door. When I explained to Steve what I wanted (we discussed it together), he said I was in the right place. And he wasnt lying. He took 3full hours to draw & then redraw the piece (which was sorta astounding as most artists will ask you if your satisfied w what they found on the internet which then they transfer to paper, and then just start inking you). And again, this was free hand - nothing came from the net. We had agreed on a size & price, and this dude actually made the piece much bigger, far more detailed, and far more cool then I had wanted. At one point I kinda figured out that he knew more of what I wanted the piece to represent than I did. So I gave him the trust, and I am not at all disappointed. In fact Im actually blown away by the work. I tipped him well, and he fully deserved it. Great atmosphere, cool place & Id recommend S.A.T. to anyone. Read Less

Got a tattoo there that was horrible quality and took the owner 2 months to finally fix it after I told him I'd pay him when I had a year warranty. Made an apt one time n he showed up 45 minutes late n asked who I was and gave me an attitude for not calling before I came. He said i didnt take care of my tattoo properly when ive had 5 tattoos n never had this problem had an attitude all the time in general. Do not deal with the owner Steve. My sister went to get a tattoo on her 18th birthday and it came out awful. I haven't told her my opinion on it because it'd hurt her feelings but it looks like a child did it, not a professional artist. The lettering triples in size from letter #2 to letter #4 in a 4 letter word, the 3rd letter is randomly upper case whereas in both words the only other capital letters are the first letters. I went here for my first tattoo in November of 2011. My mother had gotten her first tattoo here and recommended it for me. I walked in and they were very friendly. I originally was going to get it on my foot, but they asked what my pain tolerance was. I mentioned that it wasn't the highest, so the woman suggested I get it on my ankle. I am so happy I took her advice! It only took 10 minutes (like I said it was small), and it was not ridiculously expensive. I have also gone here for a nose piercing back in 2009, and they also did an excellent job with that. Any piercings or tattoos you have in mind, get them here! I have been inked all over the world, been to many, many shops. My first visit here was ok. The artist was a nice guy,.. and did good work. My second visit, after calling and making SURE I could get in at a certain time, I arrived with the owner acting like I'm bothering him with my business, a pretty empty business. One other artist there. Sorry guys( the owner specifically) you lost my business forever. Too many choices in the area to be treated like I was. Read Less

I went in here after hearing about the shop from some friends. The shop is very very clean, the staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a massive collection of artwork available for you to look through if you need ideas also. I have 12 tattoo's now, and the one I got there is my favorite by far.
