Tony Caporusso did an absolutely fabulous job. I walked in late for my appointment and from start {drawing it up and few tweeks} and then tattooing it on was an hour and a half. It was well worth the very calming and pleasant drive out from my house 67 minutes away. Thank you very much Tony!!!!

"I would rather do 10 tattoos for $10 each, rather than 1 for $100." This is what Chris told me during a break on my last piece. Who else says this? Only someone that truly loves what they do! What else should anyone look for when looking for piece of art that lasts a lifetime? I graduated with Chris and we were friendly, but never talked outside of school. When he did the first of my 3 pieces he has done, I didn't even know he was in the business. My brother put a payment (b...irthday gift) at the shop Chris was working at and he just happened to be the next available artist. He did my Kaplan skeleton. I was so impressed that I followed him to his first shop in downtown Flint for my next 2. I only have 13 pieces. Out of all of them, the 3 Chris has done have all maintained their color, no fading and are as perfect as the day they were first inked(last was done over 6 years ago). I honestly can't judge his work compared to other artist, as I am by no means an "expert". But I can honestly say I am EXTREMELY satisfied with his quality of work and his rates are very reasonable. Whether this is your 1st tattoo or your one thousandth, I honestly believe you will be satisfied too. See more

I've been going to Chris since my first tattoo quite a few years back. He's is one of the nicest, most humble & rad dudes I have the privilege of knowing. His beautiful work speaks for itself, people are always asking who my artist is. I highly recommend him especially for someone who has never had a tattoo. He's very informative and makes you feel very comfortable. Always a great experience, every time I leave I can't wait to get back into his shop!

However, bot employees very friendly and didn't mind answering any questions I had and I had a bunch in the 6 hours I was there. The end result was something I absolutely loved! I would and will recommend this place to my friends and I most definitley plan on returning for more ink!

The atmosphere is quaint and fun. With restaurants nearby it's easy to grab some friends and have "tattoo day", just be sure to make your appointment far in advance.

Britni totally covered it! Chris is an awesome guy and an amazing artist. I've gotten five tattoos done by him so far and many more to come. I have never been disappointed with his work or with what he charges price-wise. Tyler and RJ do some bad ass work as well from what I've seen. Tyler did a tattoo on my girlfriend and we both love it. Always a great atmosphere at Royalty Tattoo. All the guys are cool as hell, and everything is very clean…it's a sketch-free zone.
