The place itself is clean, with individual rooms for customers. That said, it is poorly run, ill-organized and the staff could use some training in how to be courteous and helpful. The two times I was there, I had to wait :15 and 1:15, respectively. Others in the waiting room clearly were having similar issues. I saw at least two customers complaining about service and there was no obvious response. My artist, who I'll simply call 'A', was disengaged both times, didn't listen to what I was saying and generally seemed like she would rather be doing anything besides working with me and at Iconic. Their reputation is good, but if you want to be treated decently (as a paying customer), you should probably look elsewhere. And no, I didn't get the tattoo. Love this place!  Matthew Hessler, artist and owner, has done a beautiful job with the building.  Matthew quickly drew up a sketch of the tattoo I wanted and was able to schedule me in within a week.  He was professional and kind during the whole process!  I totally love my new tattoo!! Read Less

Every tattoo shop is different just as art is subjective. But my preference is precision, and line work. Almost like a technical illustration. For this type of art, I would strongly recommend Andrea Burg, here at Iconic Tattoo. Check her work, and you I'd you are like me, you will be thoroughly impressed. Great shop. I read a lot of good reviews before visiting the store. I took the appointment with Andrea and gave the picture I wanted to get tattooed. I emailed three times asking for the sketch between my five week appointment period. Andrea NEVER sent any sketch until five hours before the actual tattoo appointment. To top it all, she sketched a completely different picture and told me it is the artist interpretation. I wonder if everyone gets a permanent tattoo on their bod...y of the artist's interpretation. I was so upset about the whole thing and my excitement of getting a tattoo has gone to zero. And, to add to the whole thing, ICONIC tattoo management told me they won't refund the deposit. Friends,tattoo is very personal and if you get a tattoo with the artists interpretation,it is a disaster lol. stay away from ICONIC guys. 7/16/2017 -they called this morning and refunded the deposit. I got a quick tattoo here on Valentine's Day by Steve. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and made the process fun and easy. The store itself is clean and stylish and Steve's room followed suit. His work was thoughtful and quick and the end result was exactly what I wanted. He provided suggestions as needed but didn't try to change the tattoo at all. His room was filled with upcoming tattoos that he freehand drew for clients. I was seriously impressed and slightly disappointed that I opted for a small quote, lol. He introduced me to an artist who used markers to do a mock up on my arm to cover an old scar...Robby, sensing my nerves, I am an old coot , put me at ease showed me skill with a pen on my arm. I have been here a few times. I have gotten two piercings and one tattoo. I will definitely go back for more. Rich did my conch and forward helix. He is very knowledgable and takes what he does very seriously. He did a great job, and thus far has been the easiest healing I've had from a piercing. My favorite band is Tool and I decided for my first tattoo I wanted artwork from the album Aenima. I saw Andrea Burg's artwork online and she had a lot of eyes in her pieces. I decid...ed to chat with her about it. She didn't really know the band, but she was so excited to get the opportunity to tattoo and eye. It was a very difficult spot for to tattoo, the back of the neck. I was nervous that it would effect the quality, but it is by far the best Aenima tattoo I have seen. She did so good on the detailing and the transition from the eye to my skin. I have seen many of these tattoos on Google and they are often not finished well. I will definitely ask her to design another and have her be able to tattoo her original work in the future.
