I went to the Knee about a year ago to get my industrial bar hearing about how "great" he positions those piercings and he didn't do a good job at all. Also didn't give me hints and tips that I feel piercer should give their customers. Then I got my nose ring done by him as well and when I asked him to change it to a hoop he went from 20 gauge to a 16 and didn't use anything as lubricant, getting it changed hurt more than getting it changed. When I returned later that day he was hestitant to give MY jewelry back that I had paid for. I went to Beyond Reality in Wyandotte and she was so helpful and gentle, didn't hurt at all once I got we got the jewelry he had given me out. Also was cheaper! Just want to say Thank You to The Knee at Liquid Chaos! He did a Daith piercing for me after I was referred to him by a friend. I have suffered from migraines for many years. I've taken daily migraine medication for years and are happy to say I no longer have to take it. I use to experience daily headaches with at least 3 or 4 migraines a week. Now I get maybe amigraine or two a month. The Knee was great, he made the entire experience easy. I can honestly say it was painless for me and he talks you through the whole process. Iconic Tattoo Shop!I can't believe this place doesn't have a ton of awesome reviews!This shop has been around forever. More or Less the "go to" shop.I've had my navel and labret pierced here and 2 tattoos. It's small, fun and just the place to literally hang out at and chat with the artists so you can see eye to eye on what you want done. They now have 3 Locations Dearborn Hgts, Brownstown and Canton.Go check these places out.  All Tattoos are minimum $50 so don't think you can just come in for a $20 heart on your arm. This place is awesome. I used to have a favorite tattoo/piercing shop in Monroe, MI, but Liquid Chaos tops them! (Sorry guys!!)The staff is not only professional and highly educated on what they're doing, but also good people supplying good company...not only when they are on the clock either! I actually had the pleasure of running into one of the staff at a local store, where she helped me pick out hair color...which might I add, was the perfect color.Liquid Chaos will be where I continue to go for piercings and when I finally decide on my first tattoo, it'll be done here. I went in to get a tattoo priced. It was in latin and they asked what it was I told them I did not know how to pronounce it very well and told them what it meant and that it was the state motto of Oregon so that it would be easier for him to look it up online for correct spelling. After I told him that the guy looked at me and said your going to get that on your body? I was appalled and very offended. I am coming into their shop for them to help me, they acted like since it was my first tattoo and I didn't know exactly everything about tattooing I shouldn't be in there. i went here on my 18th birthday to get my tongue pierced. i got a tongue piercing by ""shamrock."" after he pierced me, he tried to screw the ball on the top, but kept dropping it onto my jacket. he said it was still okay to use. i was appalled, but i didn't say anything about it. after piercing, i looked at it in the mirror, and it wasn't straight! i asked him what the deal was, and he said something like ""oh just wait until it's healed, it'll be perfectly straight."" i waited for him to tell me how to take care of my new piercing, but it didn't look like he was going to. i already knew how after researching tongue piercings on the internet, but any ""professional"" piercer would have explained it without my asking. he didn't even give me an aftercare sheet! after a month i decided to change the barbell to a shorter one, and i discovered that the barbell he pierced me with was externally threaded. externally threaded jewelry means it's low-quality jewelry. any piercer should know that internally threaded is the way to go. also, the piercing still wasn't straight. i kept it for 1 1/2 years before deciding to retire it. here is another reason not to get pierced here: my brother was skating by that shop recently, and said he saw (and smelled) them smoking ganja in the back. they are getting stoned on the job, which is unacceptable. maybe that's why they couldn't pierce my tongue straight. i have since gotten it re-pierced, and now it's perfectly straight. if you're thinking about going here, i suggest you research other shops. i'm giving it 2 stars because they had sterile equipment, and a clean studio.
