Aesthetically, the shop was beautiful, clean, and well put together. Tiffany and her staff were extremely professional, and friendly. Their selection of jewelry was the largest I had personally ever seen, with a variety of different styles. I went in to have a tongue piercing done, after being assured and shown that all equipment being used was sterile and safe, it was over in seconds and I didn't feel a thing! I had an amazing experience at DV8! I went in for a belly piercing and my piercer Kait LaRue politely explained that I wasn't shaped right for a belly piercing. So I decided to go for the nose ring I always wanted. She let me pick my jewelry and explained how it worked very well. Then we went to the back and got my nose pierced. It was quick and pretty much painless as far as piercings go. The process was quick and easy and I absolutely love the building! It is clean and purple! She was very friendly and professional, and she did a wonderful job with the piercing, very quick and as painless as one can expect when getting pierced. I walked into the store and I was politely greeted. I was having an appointment to have ONE earlobe pierced. I sat down and filled out paperwork and was told the pricing on how much my piercing would come out to be...Matt (a man who works there) told me it would be $55. I go into the room and he does all the cleaning and preparation, he also goes through a step by step process on what he'll be doing. He then proceeds to pierce my ear, but messes up and ends up having to poke me twice. For the first poke, my ear started to gush blood and it hurt so much I actually started to cry. He then re-pierces my ear with no problem but told me he would give me a discount. I walk up to the woman behind the counter, who was actually quite rude, and she tells me that I owed $98 WITH a 10% discount. At no time was the price of $98 even mentioned in any conversation. This was to get ONE earlobe pierced. Not both, just one. I looked u prices online and the website never said that an earlobe piercing would cost me close to $100. For anyone who plans on going to DV8, I would advise to ask how much the total cost of your piercing is going to be. They make you pay after you get your piercing done and that"s where they screw you over. Read Less

I had my piercing done by Tiffany when she was at Lady Luck. She is very knowledgeable and meticulous. It healed well and when I need the jewelry changed out, they are usually able to accommodate an appointment the same day. I recently had surgery and Matt was wonderful. He put in a glass retainer for me and was patient with me the next day when replacing the regular jewelry since I had some mobility restrictions. DV8 is awesome! Read Less

Absolutely loved this place. Most peircers will screw up and leave it unless you say other wise. But Matt corrected his mistake within seconds and walked me through it.
