Sooo, I usually don't Do this type of BS, but after reading and laughing at most of these reviews I figured I'll shed some light on my dude Rodney! When I first walked in to make my oppt, I felt he was def a prick, but with people always going in and saying they want a tat and half the time those people back out at the last second, yeah that could be aggravating as fuck, so that being said, Rodney does great work, and for my first tattoo I was very pleased with the result! So I saw the artist Gary very friendly and personable. I have not gotten a tattoo in seven years so he made this very easy. I waked in he was basically ready for me had me fill out the appropriate paperwork sized the drawing to my arm, and we were good to go. Session was 2.5 hours long and I couldn't be happier with my tattoo. The whole time he made sure I was comfortable. Took one break to stretch. Afterwards explained the aftercare procedure to refresh my memory. Price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to see him for more work. A+++ artist and experience. Read Less

Don't bother with Rodney unless you want cartoony neo-traditional tattoos... he put an ad on Groupon for an hour of tattooing & refused to do anything but his style. No touchups, coverups, traditional, portraits... just his own bizarre bs. Pretty arrogant for an average artist. That's like walking into Rodney's salon & him saying, well I only do perms. Oh you want me to fix your hair? Well if by fix it you mean perm it, I'm your man... hey if that's your style, cool! Just don't advertise an hour of tattooing & expect every customer that purchases your services to want to tattoo a demented looking baby or a lollipop in your corny airbrush looking style. Read Less

I worked with Katie about a month or two ago to create tattoos for my girlfriend and I. I exchanged a few emails with her first to let her know my ideas and then stopped in on a weekend afternoon and she drew up our ideas and then tattooed us. The tattoos came out better than imagined and look awesome. Super happy with the tattoos and I will definitely get one from Katie again if I find myself looking for another. They have large, comfy lounge chairs to wait in while the artists are drawing or working on other clients.My only suggestion would be to possibly change up the music in the store. The loud screaming metal-type gets to be overwhelming after the first verse. But I did find it was quite amusing when after playing 5 metal songs they throw in a Katy Perry song to change it up. So the owner of the shop is my uncle, Rodney. I'm giving him a incredibly poor review based on how he treated not only myself, but my brother too. Now my brother and I have not seen our uncle in over a DECADE! We happened to be in Worcester ( we live in western ma ) and decided to stop in and say hello and see about getting tattoos! He's never met our children, or even seen a picture of them so we were hoping to share those with him as well. We walked in the door and he was i...mmediately rude, snide, treated us poorly, and he was not only mean, he was full of hatred! He basically threw us out of the shop and told us we can't go to his place of business. He was so full of hatred and anger towards us. NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED THAT WAY!! NO ONE! The only reason I went here was because the tattoo was free. Rodney is a stuck up prick. I simply asked him if he was planning on doing an outline or color (since I didn't get to choose the tattoo), and very rudely, he responded "WELL, if you ACTUALLY followed me on Instagram you'd know I ONLY tattoo in color." Then when he asked me about my other tattoos and where I got them done he just sneered as if I was an idiot for going to anyone but him. He is rude, full of himself, and a complete prick. Maybe he does some good art. Being an artist doesn't give you the right to be a douchebag. Not to mention, the shop is overpriced as hell. Douchebag tells me $80 minimum? Try $60 minimum in every other GOOD tattoo shop I've ever seen.This place is complete crap. No one that stuck up and rude should be working with so many people daily.Oh, did I mention Rodney freaked out and blocked me on everything, simply because I said he did great art but I felt he was being a little rude? Got a really lovely piece on my bicep about a month ago. Seth is a super talented artist and took my sketchy design and ran with it. I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo and my brother recommended me to this tattoo shop. I was very impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness. They have a few different tattoo artists with amazing talent. I received my tattoo from Seth and it came out amazing. The detail came out even better. It was done perfectly, and never faded. And trust me, the tattoo was healing during my preseason which consists of a lot of running, sweat, sun, and heat. He did a great job, reasonable price, and I definitely look forward to getting another one later on. Read Less

After receiving tattoos from two other shops in the area, I wanted to try another shop to see what else is out there. After looking up reviews and what not, I came across Worcester Tattoo Co. I liked the artists work that was available to view online and the clean atmosphere of the shop. My girlfriend and I called the shop for a same day appointment and were fortunate enough to receive appointments for that afternoon. Immediately after walking into the shop, we were welcomed by one of the employees and we got our paper work started right away. We had appointments with Alec who got started on our tattoos right away after discussing with us exactly what we wanted. Alec got the piece just right and was extremely kind and easy going. The tattoos came out awesome and the prices were very reasonable. Alec let us know that we can come back anytime and he can help us out with whatever we need. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone and I, myself will being going back for more tattoos to Worcester Tattoo Co in the future. Read Less
