I am rating this based off of twice coming in and the interaction with the front desk. I had my nose pierced just over a month ago. I have developed a small bump just to the side of the jewelry. I called first to inquire about it and was told that the piercer would need to assess it in person. Ok..no problem. I explained how I tried to go during the week, but there was absolutely zero parking available and owning my own business that is a services based business, I get one day off a week and it's typically always filled up with errands, Dr. appts., etc, so time is a valuable thing. I came today, which is Sunday, and parking was no problem, but when I entered, the place was jammed. Now when I visited here on the day I actually received my piercing I had asked if I could make an appointment, I was told a flat out no by this same front desk person who lacked any personality whatsoever. Her answers were abrupt and short with a blank, expressionless stare back at me. Her words were, "I'd stay if I were you, because today isn't that busy," so I stayed. ( My piercer's name was Reese and he was awesome. Very informative, funny and had quite the personality. I highly recommend him!) Meanwhile the customer behind me says, "Yeah, I have an appointment with Travis" Um....I thought you couldn't make appointments?!! An appointment, in my case, would be perfect, considering all I needed was to have the piercing looked at and told what to do or not do moving forward. Instead, I was told that there were 8 people in front of me and if I wanted to be seen, had to wait my turn. Well in a perfect world where I have all the time in the world to just sit and waste time waiting for what would probably take maybe all of 5 minutes, I informed the front desk person that I could not wait and would have to come back another time. To which she just looked at me, expressionless, not offering any other option or suggestion as to when it might be a better time to come in or maybe, like the dude behind me who had "an appointment" with Travis. My business works off appointments and I am with customers all the time. There is something to be said about the impression one gets from the front desk of any business. Clearly the skills of the piercers are what gives this business the 5 stars and I would concur with that also, but some serious work needs to be done with the front desk because having attitude with someone who is entering into your business to do business should be a priority with any business! Because it's right there that a sale could be made or not, having nothing to do with the skill set of the piercers. I would love to know if an actual appointment could be made for a very simple assessment of a piercing issue. I am not trying to cut in line or bump someone out of their time, but it certainly would go a long way for this customer and repeat business. Read Less
