I went in for a simple tattoo, I knew exactly how and where I wanted it. Easy, common area and just a few words. Jeanne was the artist I was paired with. While I was waiting she was talking down to someone who was looking at the jewelry, I could tell the woman was very uncomfortable talking to Jeanne. She gave me her professional opinion on the tattoo; that it wouldn't look right to other people because I wanted it so I could look at it, I thanked her for her honesty but kindly insisted that I wanted it for me and not other people. She proceeded to insult me, my visible tattoo (I was wearing long pants and toed shoes so she couldn't see the ones on my feet or legs and my shirt covered the ones on my back, so she could only see the one on my arm which happened to be the memorial for my grandmother) and made me feel like overall shit. I respect the professional opinion, it even says on their website that they will give you their professional opinion and are "not trying to be rude." I have NEVER experienced such an unprofessional attitude from a tattoo artist! She also didn't open the needles or disinfected anything in front of me (something you should always witness) When I was receiving the tattoo she had me in a very uncomfortable, and unnecessary position. I had never been so uncomfortable getting a tattoo before. The professional opinion is fine, some people go in not knowing anything about tattoos, however, I have 9 tattoos, 2 portraits, a family saying, a memorial, etc...I moved to Massachusetts in June from Colorado and wanted to find a local artist. A coworker had just received her first tattoo and it looked great, i loved the line work! She had it done by Squirrel, the apprentice of Zaza, the owner. I highly recommend Squirrel, but never allow Jeanne to touch or even talk to you! Read Less
