Went to start a very meaningful sleeve today and had the greatest customer service. Not only did Mike come up with a perfect design but he really listened to the meaning of the tattoo and put great detail into it. He made sure I was comfortable the entire time and explained everything very well to me. And I was a walk in!! I had 5 tattoos prior to this from all different places and I will not go to any other place ever again. I went today to Art Gecko for my first tattoo. I was so scared but my birthday is tomorrow and I have wanted a tattoo forever....!!! Pete and Mike are two of the nicest guys. Wow..First and foremost..In 30 yrs of tattooing I have to say..Top notch quality..Nothing but the best..This shops been around for at least 15 years..I have never been tattooed by an artist like Mike Haskins..The man deserves to be recognized as one of the states best..Freehand skills are off the chart..His scope and vision and ability to truly build a tattoo up is amazing.His colorblindness is definitely in this case his greatest strength..He never rushes..And takes his time to ensure the final product is always top quality..Guy really undercuts himself by charging by the size..I would easily pay 150$ an hour if he asked for it .But he doesn't..He's more than reasonable..And his method of building up large projects leads to some of the smoothest shading and detailing I've every seen.. My experience with this place was 11 years ago but based on previous review I just read not much has changed. Mt first tattoo was overpriced and the artist spent more time talking to her other customers who were regulars then she did focusing on my tattoo. On top of that she did a terrible job. We'll start with the best and work our way down: Shad Quill has nice shading technique, but definately not comparable to any of the best shaders in New England, nor the Northeast.  Kelly Culhane and Missy Kramer are equal in talent: nice lines/edge work and they both have some character and expression to their work. Dale Douglas is a MEDIOCRE tattoo artist AT BEST.  She is great at tracing and being another sort-of-cute "girl tattoo artist" of a shop.  Her newly finished tattoos with no lines look faded and washed out. Her vibrant colored tattoos are carbon copy tattoos from the shop selection. No originality or signature style to her work. I wouldn't waste my money here. The tattoo work is nothing extrodinary. Just OK. There is nothing done here that couldn't be done at any side of the road tattoo parlor. Read Less
