This studio opens at noon however, Josh, the owner will show up whenever he pleases. I recently moved to Watertown from Florida and I was looking for tattoo shops near my neighborhood. I went to 623 Tattoo yesterday, around 12:30pm and the door was locked with a "sorry we are closed" sign, contradicting the hours shown at the door. I waited for a little bit, because I told my self "things happen, you never know". Finally Josh shows up 40 minutes late and told me he had a doctors appointment which is understandable. He invited in and we hit it off really good and I made an appointment for today at noon. This morning I got ready and went to the studio, only to find out Josh is not there and the doors are locked. The cherry on the top is that after Josh showed up 15 minutes late he told me that he has an appointment at 12:30 and that I should come back. I guess that's how they do business here in Watertown. Obviously never even driving by that place again. FU Josh, why would you tell me to be there at 12 only to tell me to come back at 13:30?

I found Josh, when trying to get some new ink and some old ink covered up.i started with the virgin mother and i must say it was perfect, i have had some many complements on the work. know i see him every 2 weeks im on my 5th tattoo with him in the last 3 months and still going. his work is clean, fast, does what you want and gives great advise when you ask. Josh covered up a 25 year old tattoo that was still bright but wanted something to match the theme of the sleeve im going for, he not old did a fantastic job, it has everything i wanted in it and you cant even tell its a cover up. his shop is clean, friendly including other customers, he great he puts in a movie so i can watch TV while i get my ink. he easy to talk to and accommodating. i will be finishing my sleeve with him and starting one on the other arm. after finding josh i wont go any where else . great artist

Stay Away!!! Listen fellow Yelpers, with so many other tattoo options in the Watertown area there's no need to give your time and money to someone who couldn't care less about taking the time to make sure you get what you want. I came in to see Josh about getting a tattoo. He was rude and condescending and genuinely seemed disinterested in "his craft." I own a business, have for many years and wouldn't dream of hiring someone like him. Anyone who can put so little effort into customer service should not be trusted with a needle on your skin. I ended up checking out a few other places and had a vastly different experience. Do yourself a favor and do the same.

I only got a semi-colon but Josh was fast, friendly and relaxed. I called the day before and got an appointment for the next day. The phone consult was helpful and let me know what to expect (including eating before I came). He made it very easy for a first-timer.

I have gotten four tattoos in three sessions at 623. Candice is a great artist and you know she's serious about her work when she can connect with you as a client and predict each others needs as it certainly happened with me. Highly recommended shop, both Josh and Candice do great quality work and they have a great sense of humor.

I wish I knew of Josh before I tattooed my sons name on my wrist at Pino Bros...ugh...then had to cover it up because it looked like a dotted line! Josh is a pro with script, I work at a salon and heard a few ppl talking about work he had done to a family member. They said it looked 3D, I believe it was a scorpion they were talking about. Anyway, he has a great reputation already. The shop is very well decorated, props to his wifey ;) Julia, she also runs the buisness. They keep the place very clean, very well lit, and they are just kind people. Josh is super talented, and honest. He will tell you if something's not a good idea or if he has another suggestion. You can tell he loves and cares about his work, I can appreciate that, and I will def be back!

Josh has done all my tattoos but I just did my half sleeve yesterday it came out awesome has to be my fav so far! I don't just go to get the tat I go for the experience as well. Him and his wife are close friends of mine. They are selfless people and spend hours tattooing, listening, and giving advice to me. The shop is clean as anything stylish and makes my experience all around exactly what at home feels like :-) totally recommend josh and his work is unique. He discusses and puts his own twists to ur tats :-)

This studio opens at noon however, Josh, the owner will show up whenever he pleases. I recently moved to Watertown from Florida and I was looking for tattoo shops near my neighborhood. I went to 623 Tattoo yesterday, around 12:30pm and the door was locked with a "sorry we are closed" sign, contradicting the hours shown at the door. I waited for a little bit, because I told my self "things happen, you never know". Finally Josh shows up 40 minutes late and told me he had a doctors appointment which is understandable. He invited in and we hit it off really good and I made an appointment for today at noon. This morning I got ready and went to the studio, only to find out Josh is not there and the doors are locked. The cherry on the top is that after Josh showed up 15 minutes late he told me that he has an appointment at 12:30 and that I should come back. I guess that's how they do business here in Watertown. Obviously never even driving by that place again. FU Josh, why would you tell me to be there at 12 only to tell me to come back at 13:30?
