We have been going to tattoo 122 for about 5 yrs. I will NOT go anywhere else. The shop is clean and well organized. The artists are knowledgeable and have extremely incredible personalities!!! They know what they are doing and hit spot on!!! Rachel did the last 3 tats door my family. My fiancee already have 2 more sessions book in August with more sessions to follow. My husband and I wanted to get tattoos on our vacation up to Mass. I got Nicole and my hubby got Sean. They both did AMAZING jobs on us! They even came in two hours before they opened just to see us. I got Totoro (Japanese tree spirit) with a semicolon incorporated to cover my self-harm scars. I am so freaking happy with it! I went to Tattoo 122 to buy a new hoop for my nose piercing. I purchased a hoop there after I was told they only sell jewelry that is surgical steel. After about three weeks the hoop was tarnishing while in my nose and the piercing began to show signs of an early infection. I have had my nose pierced for years and have changed the jewelry multiple times with no problem or resulting infections.When I called the shop to let them know of the defective product and request a refund I was told the owner would call me by the next day. However I never received a call (and I still haven't heard from him). When I went into the shop and showed them the tarnishing hoop I was told that it wasn't possible and they could "guarantee" it wasn't the product that caused the negative reaction and that surgical steel doesn't do that. However, the change to this particular hoop was the only difference and the only logical explanation for the negative reaction is a defective product.Obviously what I was sold was not surgical steel, which is the problem. They need to held accountable and offer a refund for selling defective product or for lying about what material their body jewelry is (they also need to hold their supply chain accountable if that is the root of the problem). Luckily, I do not have any allergies to different metals or there could have been a serious adverse reaction.I was planning on using this shop for a tattoo but after this experience I will defiantly stay away and recommend that everyone steer clear of this shop, the disregard for the products they sell, the condensing and utterly unhelpful staff and an owner who clearly doesn't care. I stopped by to put a deposit on a new Tattoo. I wanted the symbol for Archangel Gabriel, but unsure how to go about it. I spoke with Kevin Edgecrusher, and he was able to freehand a beautifully detailed Rune with the symbol on it. The lettering below was crisp and clear. I have had all six of my tattoos done here, 5 by Rachel. Including ribs, foot, spine, hip bones and a big thigh piece. Although all of the artists there are wonderful (just look at their portfolios) Every single time Ive felt so comfortable in her chair. Professional, good prices ( if you think they're high, you get what you pay for!) Very clean, and over all great experience. At one point I moved an hour away and still traveled there. The previous poster who lambasted this business was given a restraining order by the police. She is very famous locally for being well...."not all there." I have had multiple tattoos done there and been extremely happy with them all. The staff are very professional but also very friendly. The premises is small but extremely clean and tidy and I can only say ignore that babble from this anonymous poster and ask around locally about Tattoo 122 - word of mouth is everything and these guy have a great reputation.
